As we close another memorable Organizational Fair, the Alliance of Religious Organizations extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited our booths, shared conversations, and got to know our communities.

To everyone who stopped by ALS, MSA, YFC, CLC, ACIL, ALECS, PSALM, and SKI thank you for making these few days meaningful. Every smile, question, and conversation reminded us that community begins with a single step.

The fair may have come to an end, but our mission continues. We look forward to seeing you in our future activities not just as visitors, but as fellow companions in faith, service, and formation.

Today, officers from the different organizations under the Alliance of Religious Organizations (ARO) came together for the ARO Theme-Making 2026, a meaningful gathering facilitated by Mr. Kevin Roy P. Jimera, former Campus Ministry Director and now SACSI Director.

Through moments of reflection, open dialogue, and collaborative discussions, the ARO leaders shared their insights and aspirations as they discerned a theme that would guide the organization's journey for the school year. Anchored in the University's institutional theme, "Servicio," and inspired by the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, they worked hand in hand to craft a unifying theme that reflects their shared commitment to faith, service, and companionship.

As the session came to a close, it served as a reminder that every meaningful initiative begins with listening, discerning, and working together. May the theme they have shaped inspire the entire ARO community to continue serving with generosity, leading with humility, and living out the Ignatian call to be men and women for God and with others.

Together with our daily novena prayers, we share this reflection of Society of the Knights of Ignatius (SKI) and CFC - Youth For Christ (YFC)

Whether as liturgical ministers preparing for the Eucharist, or as leaders sharing Godโ€™s love in communities, we serve not out of duty or reward, but out of love for Him. Our tasks may differ, yet our purpose is one: to offer all we do in His holy name. Like Saint Ignatius, who gave up everything to follow and serve God, every path we takeโ€”religious or secularโ€”can be an offering of love. We are all called to find, love, and serve the Lord in every work, for His greater glory alone.

From the quiet cave of Manresa to the heart of the Church in Rome, Ignatiusโ€™ journey came full circle. Here he led, wrote, and servedโ€”rooted always in the call to the magis: the greater glory of God. Rome teaches us that mission is not only in traveling far or doing great deeds; it is in serving faithfully wherever we are, uniting prayer and action, and offering every part of our lives for His purpose.

May we too become contemplatives in actionโ€”finding God in all things, and living only for His greater glory.

All: Lord, teach me to be generous,
to serve you as you deserve,
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to look for any reward,
save that of knowing that I do your holy will.

Prayer Leader: In Rome, Ignatius became the first Superior General of the Jesuits. From a life of solitude and pilgrimage, he moved into a life of governance, writing letters, guiding decisions, and praying deeply. Rome was mission. He served from the heart of the Church, always seeking the โ€œmagisโ€โ€”the greater glory of God.

Rome teaches us that mission is not just in movementโ€”itโ€™s in stillness, leadership, and discernment. Whether we serve in faraway places or from a desk, all can be offered to God. Our calling is to be contemplatives in actionโ€”deeply rooted in God, fully present in the world.

Last July 21, 2026, the Alliance of Religious Organizations (ARO) Core met with the chairpersons and officers of ACIL, ALECS, ALS, CLC, MSA, PSALM, SKI, and YFC for a coordination meeting in preparation for the upcoming activities of the academic year.

The meeting centered on the planning and organization of future ARO initiatives, particularly the Solidarity Days, Organization Fair, and Theme-Making. Discussions also focused on strengthening collaboration among the member organizations to ensure meaningful and well-coordinated programs rooted in faith, unity, and service.

Guided by this yearโ€™s theme, Servicio, the ARO leaders continue to work hand in hand in building a vibrant faith community, committed to serving God and others through purposeful leadership and shared mission.
