POV: Finals is week na! ๐Ÿ“šโœ๏ธ

Paalala ng mga Ates and Kuyas sa mga nakshies nila:
Pray hard, do your best, and trust that God will guide you through. ๐Ÿ™

As Fr. Roque Ferriols, SJ once said:
โ€œHuwag mong tanungin kung mahirap, tanungin mo kung mahalaga.โ€ ๐Ÿค

Kaya laban lang โ€” aral, dasal, at tiwala.
Because some battles are worth the puyat. โœจ

Audiam: I will listen.

Two days of silence, prayer, and openness to Godโ€™s call.

At the ARO Discernment Retreat for Leaders (May 1โ€“2, 2026 | SJSC), we were reminded that leadership begins not in speakingโ€”but in listening.

โ€œThen you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.โ€ โ€” Jeremiah 29:12

This retreat serves as a faith-centered alternative to the traditional election processโ€”one that views leadership not merely as a position, but as a calling.

With this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œ๐‘จ๐’–๐’…๐’Š๐’‚๐’Ž: ๐‘ฐ ๐‘พ๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘ณ๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’โ€ (๐‘ฑ๐’†๐’“๐’†๐’Ž๐’Š๐’‚๐’‰ 29:12), our leaders enter a sacred space of reflection, prayer, and communal discernment. It is a time to listen deeplyโ€”to God, to one another, and to the needs of the communities they are called to serveโ€”as they discern who among them are best suited for leadership in the coming year.

We humbly ask for your prayers as they journey through these days. May they learn to listen well, pray sincerely, and respond faithfully to Godโ€™s call.

Laudato Siโ€™: Kawayan-ihan | February 28, 2026๐ŸŽ

Like bamboo, our faith bends but does not break. It grows quietly, stands resilient in harsh conditions, and remains useful despite its simplicity. In its humility and strength, we are reminded to stay grounded, serve with love, and care deeply for Godโ€™s creation.

Laudato Siโ€™: Kawayan-ihan is more than an activityโ€”it is a commitment to remain rooted in God and to nurture the environment just as He nurtures us.

With grateful hearts, we thank everyone who took part in this meaningful initiative, especially our generous sponsors for their unwavering support. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Sir Jey from the ACES Office for providing us with essential knowledge and guidance that made this activity even more meaningful.

This is just the beginning. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š

HABI NG PAGLALAKBAY
Isang paglalakbay ng pananampalataya, pagninilay, at pakikipagtagpo.

Habi ng Paglalakbay is an interactive prayer and reflection space open to everyone โ€” for our Catholic brothers and sisters, our fellow Christians from various traditions, during this Lenten season, and for our Muslim brothers and sisters observing the holy month of Ramadan.
Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, this safe and welcoming space invites each person to pause, notice, and discern โ€” to find God in all things. Through guided reflection prompts, meaningful symbols, and creative prayer stations, the community is led into a personal encounter with God who walks with us in every season.

In the spirit of our schoolโ€™s theme of companionship, we embrace the Ignatian call to journey together โ€” as companions in faith, attentive to one anotherโ€™s stories, struggles, and hopes. Like threads woven into one tapestry, our individual reflections become part of a shared pilgrimage toward deeper love, understanding, and solidarity.

The interactive panels will open after the blessing on March 3, 2026.

Wherever you are in your faith journey,
you are welcome.
You belong.
You are invited.
This space is for you.

Let us walk, discern, and grow together this sacred season.

READ: Guide to a Lenten Journey

Ash Wednesday invites us into a sacred pause.
In the spirit of St. Ignatius, we begin Lent by asking for the grace to see our lives honestly and to respond generously. The ashes remind us of our need for Godโ€”and of His mercy that calls us home.
Where is the Lord inviting me to deeper freedom?
How can I love and serve more this Lent?

READ: CBCP's Practical Ways to Practice Digital Media Fasting

Lent is a sacred season of fastingโ€”not only from food, but also from the noise and distractions of social media and digital gadgets. In the Ignatian spirit, this practice of digital fasting becomes a way of creating interior space, so we may listen more attentively to Godโ€™s movements in our daily lives.

Inspired by the guidance of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), digital media fasting invites us to practice discernment, deepen our prayer, and become more aware of how God is calling us through silence, reflection, and intentional presence.
