Today, we celebrate the legacy and commitment of Filipino sanitary engineers, a profession proudly founded under Republic Act No. 1364, to protecting the environment and public health. For 71 years, the profession has played a vital role in ensuring access to safe water, proper sanitation systems, effective waste management, pollution control, and healthier communities for all.

Through innovation, expertise, and service, Sanitary Engineers continue to contribute to the prevention of diseases, environmental protection, and the improvement of quality of life across the nation.
