Ang bawat habi ng tennun ay isang tahimik at intensyonal na representasyon ng tiyaga ng mga tao ng Yakan.

Sa gitna ng agarang industriyalisasyon at mabilisang pagtakbo ng araw-araw na gawain, nawa'y maging salamin ang ating tradisyon sa patuloy na pagpreserba ng mga gawain at kasanayang naghuhubog ng pagkabuti ng ating kalikasan.

Dito man nagtatapos ang huling kabanata ng Habi ng Buhay, ngunit patuloy pa rin ang sining at tradisyon ng Yakan: paalala sa diwa ng pagmana ng ating kinagisnan at pagmamahal.

Sa Barangay Calarian ng Zamboanga City ay matatagpuan ang naglalakihang letra na Yakan Village, na tila’y paanyaya sa mga dumadaang residente at turista na pumasok at tingnan ang maaari nitong maibahagi.

Hindi magsisisi ang tatanggap ng alok na ito. Ngunit ano nga ba ang taglay na kulay at kabuluhan ng sining ng mga tao ng Yakan? Bakit kinakailangan natin itong pahalagahan?

For our advocacy, Habi ng Buhay, we intentionally crafted a brand identity that reflects the essence of Yakan weaving. The curved and expressive typography echoes the intricate flow of woven textile patterns, while the warm and bold color palette mirrors the vibrancy of traditional Yakan fabrics. At the center of the design, the image of the weaver represents patience, craftsmanship, and the intergenerational knowledge that keeps the tradition alive.

Through this branding, we highlight the connection between kalikasan 🍃 at kabuhayan. 🧵 This shows how cultural practices like weaving embody sustainable living through skill, intentionality, and mindful production.
