The 𝙎𝙎𝘾𝙎𝙋–𝙕𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 aims to organize leaders from different backgrounds to hone their skills and develop them to become future leaders and be an advocate of peace and development in our country. ✨

𝑩𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒅. 𝑩𝒆 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆. 𝑩𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆.

The Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines (SSCSP) – Zamboanga City Chapter gladly attended and participated in the 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭 (𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀) 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 last September 10 at the Zamboanga City Hall.

The discussion emphasized the importance of being aware and responsible citizens. It also covered Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, highlighting its two mandates: empowerment and enforcement. Several violations were also discussed, including the implementation of a no-noon-break policy in government offices.

The symposium also briefly explained the purpose of the 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, which aims to inspire students to become good leaders with civic responsibilities and provide opportunities for qualified students interested in completing their OJT or internship with ARTA. The youth are given emphasis because they are the future of our country, and early exposure to good governance can help develop a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗦𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗣-𝗭𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲

The Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines (SSCSP) – Zamboanga City Chapter was honored with a Command Plaque on August 15, 2026, at the Headquarters Western Mindanao Command, Camp Don Basilio Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City.

The award was received by President 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐌. 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐚, External Vice President 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐇. 𝐀𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐨, and General Secretary 𝐌𝐱. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐢 𝐁. 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 on behalf of the organization.

The recognition was presented by the Western Mindanao Command acting commander, 𝐌𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐑. 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐀, with the support of the 4th Civil Relations Group, in appreciation of the Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines Zamboanga City Chapter’s contributions, support, and successful creation of the West Philippine Sea Solidarity Mural painting in commemoration of the 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲 𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

The mural highlighted the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 and conveyed a powerful message of Filipino patriotism, unity, and commitment to protecting our national interests.

This recognition reflects the strength of collaboration between the youth, civil society, artists, and our partner institutions in advancing meaningful initiatives that promote patriotism, solidarity, and national awareness.

Salute to every partner and volunteer who helped bring the message of the mural to life.

𝗔 𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines – Zamboanga City Chapter, together with the Union of Nation-builders and Innovators for Democracy Organization, and other youth artists and volunteers, successfully conducted the 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 for West Philippine Sea Atin ‘To! campaign and Bangon Bayan, Panahon Na! program.

This Solidarity Mural Painting marks a collective call to awaken civic consciousness and encourage Filipinos, especially the youth, to stand for what is right. Through this, the message is brought to life: our seas, our rights, our sovereignty, and our future are worth standing for.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

At the heart of the mural is the West Philippine Sea, symbolizing our national identity, territorial rights, and responsibility to protect what belongs to our country. Each stroke of the artwork reflects the courage, unity, and patriotism of Filipinos who continue to raise their voices for our nation.

𝗞𝘂𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗞𝗭𝗖𝗙 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗖

On August 11, the Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines Zamboanga City Chapter, represented by Public Information Officer Ms. Eused Kyle P. Alimusa, attended a joint dialogue Kumustahan with the Sangguniang Kabataan Zamboanga City Federation Chairperson and the Local Youth Development Council at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.

The gathering brought together representatives from various youth organizations, Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs), SK Chairpersons, and Youth City Councilors. It served as a meaningful platform for young leaders to share their ideas, concerns, suggestions, and experiences concerning youth development in the city.

The session became even more productive as members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod joined the gathering, together with NYC representatives Asec. Cervy James N. Gumarit, MAEd., and Asec. Michael Christopher R. Agustin, alongside the SK Federation President.
