The Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) Recognition Day was successfully held yesterday, April 29, 2025, at the Boalan Covered Court in Zamboanga City. The event celebrated the theme "First Steps Towards a Brighter Future" and brought together learners, parents, and community leaders.

The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Captain of Barangay Boalan, Hon. Angelica Inot for providing the venue, lights, and sound system. We also acknowledge all Barangay Captains from the covered areas who arranged transportation for both the general practice and the recognition day itself.

Special appreciation to the HRFC alumni and other generous individuals who contributed donations in kind and in cash to make this special event possible. The event's success would not have been achieved without the participation and support of all the parents and learners involved.

Through this community initiative, these young learners are truly taking their first steps toward brighter futures.

A Thematic Disaster Risk Reduction session was held at HRFC Training Center in Pasobolong, Zamboanga City, with child and youth representatives from five barangays (Pasobolong, Salaan, Culianan, Mercedes, and Boalan). Led by Ma'am Marlene Joy C. Perez, Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Assistant, the workshop complemented previous Nature-Based Solutions training by focusing on community-based disaster preparedness. A three-month series of Child Development Sessions were conducted across multiple Zamboanga City areas (MCS, Pasobolong, Salaan, Culianan, Mercedes, and Boalan), facilitated by Youth Facilitators and Program Officer Berlie B.
