The Union, together with the Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines โ Zamboanga City Chapter (SSCSP-ZC) and Project MaKSUD, successfully conducted the ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ง: ๐๐๐ฎ๐ค๐๐ฌ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ง at Recodo National High School Covered Court, Zamboanga City on July 29, 2026.
The activity was attended by the officers of the Supreme Secondary Learners' Government (SSLG) of Recodo National High School, as well as the classroom officers from grades 7 to 12. Their active participation reflected the youthโs commitment to learning, leadership, and community involvement.
The Chairperson of Barangay Recodo, Mr. Ijin, formally welcomed the participants through an inspiring message addressed to the youth and the government's active partners, emphasizing the importance of their continued collaboration in fostering community development and meaningful civic engagement. Following the welcome message, the opening remarks were delivered by The Union's Vice President, Ms. Sajulga, who formally commenced the program and underscored the significance of the event and the collective commitment of its participants.
The activity proceeded to the presentation of the โ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐๐!โ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ by The Unionโs President, Ms. Gabas. In her speech, she highlighted that ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก, ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ.
The program was further enriched by ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ delivered by the Barangay Kagawad of Recodo, Mr. Daris and Mr. Asdali, who expressed their encouragement and commitment to the initiative.
The Union also extends its appreciation to the ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ค๐๐ซ, Ms. Omayao, for sharing an inspiring and meaningful message of the importance of education in building a strong nation.
The activity concluded with the ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ to the participants, the ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ as a symbol of their commitment to the advocacy, and the delivery of the ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ by the SSCSPโZC Internal Vice President, Mr. Susulan. Through this initiative, the youth were empowered to recognize their vital role as active partners in governance and as integral contributors to addressing the pressing issues and challenges confronting society.
