The 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (ZSCMST), in partnership with the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐗 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐀 and in collaboration with the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐙𝐒𝐂𝐌𝐒𝐓, successfully held the eSkills Training Program on April 29, 2026 at Smart Classroom and AVR of ZSCMST.

The training brought together student leaders from various recognized organizations, along with participants representing the institution’s five colleges. In line with the national thrust to enhance digital literacy, the program provided participants with practical, hands-on experience in video editing and multimedia production and key skills essential in today’s fast-evolving academic and professional environments.

As part of the training, participants not only learned the fundamentals of editing but also applied these skills through an interactive activity where they went outside the venue to capture their own video content. They were given 30 minutes to edit and creatively showcase their outputs, highlighting their newly acquired skills in real time.

This initiative underscores the importance of digital capability in fostering innovation, productivity, and effective communication in the modern academic environment.

The Rotaract Club of ZSCMST extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. James Torres, Head of the Information Technology Office, for his assistance in venue setup and facilitation. We also thank our speakers, Ms. Midarca N. Mohammad, who served as the facilitator, and Ms. Fhlori Ann Maye V. Luna, resource person for the “Basic Digital Literacy Training / Video Editing.”

Our heartfelt appreciation as well to our College President, Dr. Roy Lim Valesco and to our Rotaract Moderator, Dr. Roderick D. Trio, for their continued support in making this activity possible.
