✨ PROJECT HILOM | SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITY HEALING ACTIVITY ✨

On December 13, 2025, Project Hilom successfully delivered a meaningful community healing activity in District 3, San Miguel. The initiative provided essential psychosocial support and art therapy to children and their families affected by Typhoon Uwan, creating a safe space for children to recover and reconnect with one another.

The project was facilitated by the Junior Disaster Risk Reduction Advocate and Practitioners (JDRRAP), Sirang: Bicol Coalition of Youth Leaders - Catanduanes (SIBICO) and the Youth and Teen Volunteer Facilitators-Virac (YTVF-VIRAC)

This impactful event was executed with the collaborative support of key local partners, including the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of San Miguel, San Miguel Central Elementary School, PNP San Miguel, and the District III Barangay Council.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all our generous donors and supporters. This project would not have been possible without your unwavering kindness and trust. Thank you for transforming compassion into action and delivering tangible hope to the community. 💙🌿

We are pleased to share today's update regarding our upcoming activity, "PROJECT HILOM"!

Yesterday, November 26, 2025, marks a significant milestone. Our team successfully conducted a productive coordination meeting with key local partners from District III, San Miguel, including the Barangay Captain, SK Chairman, San Miguel Central Elementary School Administration through the School Principal, Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), MDRRMO, and PNP San Miguel.

During the meeting, all important details were thoroughly discussed and finalized to ensure the safe, smooth, and successful implementation of our project.

The support is overwhelming! We are thrilled by the all-out support these agencies have for us and for the activity. Especially, we are grateful for the commitment from the MDRRMO and PNP San Miguel. They didn't just give their approval; they pledged to be crucial counterparts, helping us directly with security, food, and even with the necessary materials for PROJECT HILOM!

Today's meeting proves that when the community unites for the betterment of our children, anything is possible!

We are genuinely excited to move forward and bring this collaborative effort into action!

What an incredible second day at our Tambay Kaagapay Program! Our participants dove deep into hands-on training, transforming theoretical knowledge into tangible skills. We're so proud to showcase their dedication and hard work!

In the Basic Welding and Fabrication course, sparks were flying as participants meticulously crafted metal frames for tables. Over in Basic House Wiring, our trainees were busy bringing circuits to life, mastering essential electrical tasks. And for those with an eye for design, the T-Shirt Sublimation Printing group was creating vibrant, personalized apparel.

The energy was palpable, and the focus on creating finished products truly highlighted their growing expertise. Witnessing their commitment to learning and development is truly inspiring!

We're thrilled to share our involvement in the Tambay Kaagapay Program, a crucial initiative dedicated to supporting our beloved Out-of-School Youths right here in Virac! The program kicked off today, June 25th, at the Virac Sports Center in Rawis, Virac, Catanduanes, and will run for three impactful days.

We're incredibly proud of our own President, Dhana Tablizo, VP for External Affairs, Jim Andrew Nantes, and Treasurer, Famela Mae Amata, who generously volunteered their time and expertise as facilitators on the first day. Their dedication truly embodies the spirit of our organization, and they played a vital role in engaging with the participants and ensuring a smooth start to this meaningful event.

The Tambay Kaagapay Program provides invaluable opportunities and support for young people in our community, and the energy and enthusiasm at the Sports Center were truly inspiring. We believe in the power of youth empowerment, and seeing our leaders actively contribute to such a significant cause fills us with immense pride.

We're excited to continue our support throughout the remaining days of the program and witness the positive impact it will have on the lives of these young individuals. Stay tuned for more updates and highlights from the Tambay Kaagapay Program!
