The Mentorship Program and Macro-Demonstration 2026 became a memorable experience for all BEED students from 1st year to 4th year. Even though there was a blackout during the event, everyone remained energetic and willing to participate. Seeing everyone cooperate and stay active despite the situation truly showed the dedication of the BEED family.

We would like to say thank you to 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐳-𝐈𝐜𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 for being our 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 and for sharing inspiring lessons with us. We are also thankful to our 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐂. Tunay na sa BEED, BEEDa ka!

Isang makabuluhan na pagkatuto at pagbabahaginan ang naganap sa “Paano Nga Ba? Seminar-Palihan sa Pagpaplano at Pagtuturo ng Filipino sa Antas Elementarya” nitong Abril 8, 2026 sa CatSU Extension Training Hall. 📚

Pinangunahan ng tagapagsalita na si Teacher III Christine Joy V. Tulod, nabigyang-linaw ang mga makabagong estratehiya sa epektibong pagtuturo ng Filipino—at higit sa lahat, kung paano nga ba ito isasagawa sa loob ng silid-aralan. Naging aktibo rin ang mga kalahok sa talakayan, palitan ng ideya, at mga gawaing nagpalalim sa kanilang kaalaman at kasanayan.

Ang mga nakilahok sa nasabing gawain ay ang mga BEED 2nd year students sa pamumuno ni Bb. Maria Charlene A. Cantar, na patuloy na hinuhubog upang maging mahusay at epektibong g**o sa hinaharap.

Ibinahagi nila ang makabuluhan at kapaki-pakinabang na natutunan mula sa seminar, sapagkat hindi lamang nadagdagan ang kanilang kaalaman kundi nagkaroon din sila ng mas malinaw na pag-unawa kung paano aktwal na ilalapat ang mga natutunang estratehiya sa kanilang pagtuturo.

| To all students of Catanduanes State University (Laboratory Schools to Graduate School), please be informed that classes on April 10–11, 2026, in both Virac and Panganiban campuses will be conducted face-to-face, based on the Memorandum Order issued by Pres. Gemma G. Acedo dated April 6, 2026.

In light of the prevailing high heat index, the University reminds the CatSU community to take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Everyone is advised to:
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day;
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours (10:00 AM–4:00 PM);
• Wear light, breathable clothing;
• Utilize shaded or well-ventilated areas whenever possible; and
• Be alert to signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and seek immediate medical attention when necessary.

Faculty members are likewise encouraged to consider appropriate adjustments to classroom activities, as needed, to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Let us all remain vigilant and prioritize health and safety during this period.

There will be no classes and office transactions at Catanduanes State University (Virac and Panganiban campuses) on this day.

Classes and office operations will resume on Friday, April 10, 2026.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Catanduanes State University will be transitioning to a new school calendar beginning 1st semester AY 2026-2027; classes will now start on July, 2026.

Due to the compressed schedule, enrollment for Mid-Year AY 2025-2026 will 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 to graduate students for final defense, i.e. those on Thesis 2 or Dissertation.

Be guided accordingly.

𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On March 24, 2026 at the Albay Astrodome, thirty-eight pre-service teachers, together with two faculty members, Ma’am Lilibeth Magtangob and Ma’am Michelle Karen Miguel, participated in the congress, with around twenty BEEd students proudly representing the group.

Anchored on the theme, “From Graduation to Professional Life: Shaping Our Professional Identity,” the event served as a meaningful step toward becoming future educators.
