🏠 What if a broken house became the place where someone met Jesus?
When we first met Mr. Mola in Tanzania, he was living in extreme poverty in a home that was literally falling apart. A local pastor noticed his need and began visiting him. From there, Mosaic was able to come alongside with food, clothing, and a solar light.
But the story didn’t end there.
His neighbors came together and built him a new home. Mosaic helped provide the iron sheets for the roof, while the community provided their time, hands, and love.
Then, eighteen months later, something incredible happened.
Mr. Mola’s daughter-in-law, after watching her family and community love him so faithfully, decided she wanted to follow Jesus. She gave her life to Christ inside the very home her community had built.
No one set out with a strategy to reach her. People simply chose to love their neighbor, and God used those small acts of obedience to make His love visible.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Sometimes we give a little food. Sometimes we provide a light. Sometimes we help put a roof over someone’s head.
We may never know what God will build from there.
