The Animal & Human Wellness Society (AHWS) extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Veterinary Office of Catanduanes, headed by Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Ramil Evangelista, for the successful conduct of Free Veterinary Outreach Activity.

Through this initiative, many pet owners were able to avail of free veterinary services, contributing to improved animal health and welfare in our communities. The overwhelming response from the public reflects the importance of accessible veterinary care and the dedication of those who work tirelessly to provide it.

AHWS is honored to have been part of this meaningful activity and to support efforts that promote responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and public health. We commend the Provincial Veterinary Office, its staff, partner veterinarians, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this outreach possible.

We look forward to working together on more programs and initiatives that will continue to benefit the animals and people of Catanduanes.

Thank you for the overwhelming response to today’s Free Veterinary Outreach Activity! Because of the large number of participants, our supplies are already running low.

If you’re still planning to avail of the free services, we encourage you to come as early as possible. At the current rate, supplies may only last until before lunchtime.

The Provincial Veterinary Office-Catanduanes Free Veterinary Outreach Activity is currently providing free consultation, vaccination, deworming, and vitamins for pets and farm animals.

While the scheduled Free Spay and Neuter Program has been postponed, the Provincial Veterinary Office-Catanduanes will still be conducting a FREE Veterinary Outreach Activity on June 9, 2026 at Plaza Rizal, Virac, Catanduanes.

Free services available for farmers and pet owners:

βœ… Deworming
βœ… Vitamins

We encourage pet owners and animal lovers to take advantage of these free veterinary services and help keep our animals healthy and protected.

‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

Due to unforeseen delays in the arrival of anesthesia and other essential medical supplies needed for the safe conduct of the procedures, the scheduled Free Spay and Neuter Program on June 9, 2026 has been postponed.

The Provincial Veterinary Office and its partners remain committed to conducting this activity and serving pet owners throughout Catanduanes. However, to ensure the safety and welfare of all animals that will undergo the procedure, we have decided to move the activity to a later date once all necessary supplies are available.

Please stay tuned for the official announcement regarding the new schedule. Updates will be posted on our official pages as soon as they become available.

🐾 RESCUE UPDATE 🐾

We want to give everyone an update regarding the stray dog from CATSU College of Industrial Technology.

The lump on his neck has subsided, and after further evaluation at the vet, he has been diagnosed with canine distemper.

He is currently under treatment and closely monitored by the veterinarian. As many of you know, distemper is a serious viral disease that requires proper medication, supportive care, and close observation.

As of today, his vet bill has already reached β‚±5,000 and is still running.

π–πž 𝐚π₯𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 π›πž 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 β€” 𝐰𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐒𝐧𝐠π₯𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐒𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫.
