PSIM Misamis Oriental Chapter Plant Visit (July 15, 2026) - PACERM-I Energy Corporation 1

The Pambansang Samahan ng Inhenyero Mekanikal (PSIM) – Misamis Oriental Chapter successfully conducted a Plant Visit to PACERM-I Energy Corporation, a 10.5 MW bunker C-fired diesel power plant located in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.

The activity provided Mechanical Engineers with valuable exposure to actual power plant operations, maintenance practices, diesel engine technology, and the vital role of mechanical engineering in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power generation. It also served as an avenue for professional learning, knowledge exchange, and strengthening camaraderie among fellow engineers.

This meaningful activity was led by Engr. Jethro Bagayna, PME, Chapter President, together with the officers and members of the PSIM Misamis Oriental Chapter.

The Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to the management and technical team of PACERM-I Energy Corporation for their warm hospitality, insightful technical presentation, and for sharing their expertise and best practices.

Together, we continue to inspire professional excellence, lifelong learning, and collaboration among Mechanical Engineers and even for BSME students.
