ON THE GROUND TODAY
Our lone staff is on half-day rest, so I am covering all duties
One store is already out of stock; the other will restock tomorrow
I will be going out today to source food for the dogs

GRATEFUL HEARTS
By God’s grace, we were able to:

Keep the dogs well-fed these past days

Dwelling in Faith

Every day is an experience in faith—
a deeper understanding of what it truly means to believe.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.”
(Proverbs 3:5–6, KJV)

It is learning to let go of every concern,
every weight that comes from needs still unmet…

“Casting all your care upon him;
for he careth for you.”
(1 Peter 5:7, KJV)

And choosing, instead, to trust completely—
to trust God, whatever the outcome.

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
(2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV)

To walk in full obedience,
resting in His will, knowing that all things will work for good.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
(Romans 8:28, KJV)

And in that surrender, we find peace—
a peace the world cannot give, for it is written:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
(John 14:27, KJV)

Because it is rooted in the truth
that the very hands that uphold us
are the same hands shaping a beautiful future ahead.

O Lord our God,
Thou art our refuge and our strength,
a very present help in trouble.

Teach us to trust Thee with all our hearts,
to cast every care upon Thee,
and to walk not by sight, but by faith.

Grant us the grace to yield in full obedience,

For the love of Wookie… 🤍
He is in his prime — full of life, full of love — yet his little body is fighting more than it should. What started as an infected follicular cyst has led us to discover even more: a UTI, urinary stones, periodontal disease, and now a loose upper molar that threatens to worsen his condition.
All of this has come during Holy Week… when trusted clinics are closed, and the vets we rely on are away. Help feels so far, just when it is needed most.
Wookie recently lost his furmom. 💔
In her final months, he never left her side. Together with his siblings, Gwapita and Quezon, he stayed loyal, gentle, and present — offering the kind of love only animals can give so purely. Even when they were separated by unkind hands, their faithfulness never wavered.
By God’s grace, I was able to reach them in time… to bring them to safety, to begin helping them heal.
But today, I am asking…
for Wookie.
He needs urgent vetting — diagnostics, dental care, and medication to ease his pain and prevent further complications. I cannot do this alone anymore.
Breakdown of needed support:
• ₱1,500 — Transport to and from vet clinic
• ₱1,200 — Blood work / diagnostics
• ₱250 — Urinalysis
• ₱350 — Professional veterinary fee
• ₱500–₱700 — Medicines
