is an association aims to foster strong camaraderie and unity, and exchange technical assistance and ideas among local chief executives for the benefit of their respective LGUs. It provides a forum to vent common concerns and issues to the provincial and national government such as development and infrastructure projects, Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) sharing, health and environment, peace and
order, livelihood programs and more. It also seeks to provide assistance to its members in good standing, financial and otherwise, as determined by the Board, subject to availability of the association, assist in the implementation and information dissemination of projects outlines by the provincial and national government, raise funds necessary for the attainment of the goals and programs of the association, and study the possibility of putting up a Foundation to further attain the objective for which the association is formed. During its establishment, Negros ACE was led by its first President Mayor Manuel M. Escalante III followed by the late Mayor David Albert R. Lacson, and former Mayor Francis Frederick P. Now, on its 20th year, with the leadership of Honorable Javier Miguel L. Benitez, the Negros ACE continues to foster unity among the Mayors on the Province of Negros Occidental while providing a venue to discuss important business and projects in coordination with the Provincial Government, and collectively come up with solutions for the progress and development of its member LGUs. For two decades, the association strives to accelerate sustainable economic growth and social progress in all LGUs in the Province through leadership with excellence and strengthened coordination.
