As part of the Anniversary Celebration of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, Project ARUGA: A Day of Healing brought together government agencies, healthcare professionals, and civic organizations in a shared mission of compassionate service on July 26, 2026

The Rotary Club of Victoria proudly participated through Project Kita Kita, Lolo at Lola, serving more than 80 senior citizens with free reading glasses to improve their vision, together with the Provincial Health Office, Municipal Health Office, Pharmacists Association, and other partners, Project ARUGA demonstrated the power of collaboration in making healthcare more accessible to the community.

The Rotary Club of Victoria officially turned over essential medical supplies to the Victoria Municipal Health Unit through its Bayanihan sa Paghilom: Health Education and Distribution of Health Care Supplies Project on July 14, 2026. The donation was received by Dr. Leah Piñafrancia Acedera-Reyes, Municipal Health Officer, and the turnover activities was graced by Municipal Mayor Richard V. Inciong.

The initiative aims to strengthen primary healthcare services by providing needed medical supplies, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to community health and this Rotary year’s theme, “Create Lasting Impact.”

District Governor Eric B. Santos Pays Official Visit to Rotary Club of Victoria, Marks Leadership Transition

VICTORIA, Oriental Mindoro — District Governor Eric B. Santos of Rotary International District 3820 paid his official Governor's Visit to the Rotary Club of Victoria on June 22, 2026, at the RCV Center in Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, reaffirming the district's commitment to strengthening clubs and inspiring Rotarians to create meaningful and lasting impact in their communities.

The visit also coincided with the club's 28th Induction and Hand-Over Ceremonies, marking the formal conclusion of the term of Heartworking President Marilyn Escorpeso and the assumption of leadership by Service Impact President Jonbert M. Caoli, who was officially inducted as Club President for Rotary Year 2026–2027.

One of the highlights of the Governor's Visit was the presentation of annual plans and commitments by the club's committee heads. Each committee outlined its goals, flagship projects, and service initiatives aligned with Rotary International's 2026–2027 theme, "Create Lasting Impact," reflecting the club's unified vision of delivering sustainable and impactful service to communities in Victoria and neighboring municipalities.

In his address, District Governor Santos commended the Rotary Club of Victoria for its strategic planning and dedication to service. He encouraged members to pursue innovative, collaborative, and sustainable projects while strengthening membership, public image, and Rotary's humanitarian mission. He likewise shared the district's priorities for the new Rotary year and expressed confidence in the club's ability to transform its plans into meaningful action.

The occasion was attended by Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Victoria, district officers, assistant governor, and visiting Rotarians from various Rotary clubs across Mindoro, highlighting the fellowship and collaboration that continue to strengthen among Rotary Clubs.

The Governor's Visit concluded with the ceremonial turnover of leadership, induction of club officers, a community dinner and a renewed commitment from club members to uphold Rotary's motto, Service Above Self, as the Rotary Club of Victoria begins another year of impactful service.

💧 Preparing for a lasting impact—one drop at a time.

The Rotary Club of Victoria officially kicked off Rotary Year 2026–2027 by conducting a project readiness and monitoring activity for the Kisloyan Water Project, a joint initiative with the Office of the Provincial Governor of Oriental Mindoro through Provincial Governor and Past President Humerlito "Bonz" Dolor. The activity underscored the club's commitment to ensuring that its service projects are fully prepared, sustainable, and ready to create lasting impact before their formal turnover to the beneficiary community.

Warmly welcomed by the teachers of Kisloyan Mangyan School, the Rotarians inspected the completed water system, carried out minor repainting and finishing touches, and ensured that the facility is fully prepared for its formal turnover. Once officially turned over, the project will be entrusted to Kisloyan Mangyan School at Villa Cerveza, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro for the benefit of its students, teachers, and the nearby Mangyan community,

This initiative is among the pioneering projects under Project D.R.O.P.S. (Delivering Resources for Optimal Potable Water and Sanitation), the Rotary Club of Victoria's program that promotes sustainable access to clean water and improved sanitation in underserved communities.

More than providing a water system, this project represents a shared commitment to better health, quality education, and improved quality of life. It is a testament to what can be achieved when Rotary, government, educators, and the community work together in the spirit of Service Above Self.
