In response to the growing social, emotional, and economic challenges faced by many Filipino families, the ๐‘๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐ฐ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐Š๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐š๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก, in partnership with the ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐–๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž, launched ๐๐‘๐Ž๐‰๐„๐‚๐“ ๐๐”๐๐ƒ๐€๐‘โ€”our Annual Project dedicated to empowering at-risk parents and children in Caloocan City.

Through six meaningful sessions focused on child protection, financial literacy, stress management, and family relationships, families gained practical skills, renewed hope, and stronger connections at home. The program has already made a difference, with parents reporting improved relationships with their children and over ๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ% ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐’๐–๐ƒ successfully reintegrated with their families.

The Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North, in partnership with the Caloocan City Social Welfare Development Department, successfully conducted a meaningful community service project at ๐“๐š๐ก๐š๐ง๐š๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ ๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ๐š ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฒ๐ฌ and ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐š๐ก๐š๐ง๐š๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ ๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฌ.

This initiative was made even more impactful through the collaboration of the ๐‘๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ง โ€“ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ฒ and the ๐‘๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ., united in service and compassion for the community.

As part of this initiative, we conducted a series of structured sessions under ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ: ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐จ๐จ๐. These sessions focused on values formation, skills development, and personal growth activities, all aligned with Rotaryโ€™s Seven Areas of Focus.

This project is dedicated to children who have been reached out to on the streets by CCSWDO staff. Through psychosocial support, digital literacy, human rights education, trafficking awareness, leadership formation, and recreational engagement, we strive to provide opportunities that inspire growth, resilience, and hope.

Together, we continue to make a differenceโ€”one child, one lesson, and one act of kindness at a time. Through unity, compassion, and service, we pave the way for a future filled with hope, opportunity, and positive change.

The Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North, in partnership with the Caloocan City Social Welfare Development Department, successfully conducted a meaningful community service project at Bahay Pag-asa for the Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL).

Through 10 meaningful sessions featuring lectures, reflective discussions, and basic skills training, the project aimed to inspire hope, growth, and positive change among the youth. Each session served as a safe space for learning, reflection, and encouragement โ€” reminding every participant that their past does not define their future. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

More than a community service initiative, UNITEN became a symbol of compassion, empowerment, and second chances. Together, we continue to guide young individuals toward becoming better versions of themselves and toward a future filled with hope and opportunity. ๐Ÿ’™

With the shared goal of preparing for the upcoming school year, Caloocan Central Elementary School successfully held its annual Brigada Eskwela from June 1โ€“6, 2026.

On June 6, 2026, members of the Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North, Rotaract Club of University of Caloocan City โ€“ CBA, Rotaract Club of Divine Mercy College Foundation Inc., together with the Rotary Club of Kalookan North and the Council of Brgy. 15, Caloocan City, joined forces in this meaningful community-driven initiative.

The activity included a fogging operation to help eliminate mosquitoes and other pests, reducing the risk of vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria. In addition, volunteers also assisted in washing down comfort rooms, watering plants, and cleaning various areas of the school to ensure a safer, cleaner, and healthier learning environment for the students.

This yearโ€™s Brigada Eskwela once again highlighted the importance of community participation in building safe and conducive spaces for learning. It reflected the true spirit of bayanihanโ€”where different organizations come together, united by one purpose: service.

However, our responsibility does not end after Brigada Eskwela. Maintaining cleanliness and care for our environment is a continuous commitment. Beyond schools, we are also encouraged to uphold cleanliness in our streets and communities to promote a healthier and more sustainable future for all.

Together, let us continue to serve, to care, and to create lasting impact.
