When did life start feeling like it had to be so serious? 😵‍💫

As you grow older, it’s easy to get caught up in responsibilities, deadlines, and everything you feel you should be doing. Somewhere along the way, you might find yourself putting aside the things you used to enjoy, not because you stopped loving them, but because life started asking for your attention in so many other ways.

But that sense of wonder you had when you were younger doesn’t have to disappear. You can still get excited over small things, laugh at something silly, get curious about something new, or find joy in something that doesn’t need to be productive or practical. You’re allowed to enjoy things simply because they make you happy.

That little bit of whimsy can be good for your wellbeing, too. When you give yourself permission to play, explore, or simply enjoy the moment, you create small pockets of lightness in the middle of everyday life. It may not erase the difficult days, but it can give you something gentle to look forward to.

You don’t have to force yourself to feel joyful all the time, either. Some days will naturally feel heavier than others, and that’s okay. Wellness isn’t about being happy every moment; it’s also about giving yourself space for the moments that feel good when they come. 🫶

Remember, you don’t need to be young to carry a little bit of youthfulness with you. This International Youth Day, may we remember that we all have the power to make life a little more whimsical and fun, no matter how heavy life can be. ☀️

cordially invites you to:

"Mind on Overdrive: What Anxiety Feels Like and How to Slow It Down"
15 July 2026 (Wednesday)
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Via Zoom

In today's rapidly changing environment, students are navigating not only academic demands but also broader societal challenges, including economic uncertainties, political tensions, public safety concerns, natural disasters, and other unpredictable events that can contribute to heightened stress and anxiety. These circumstances can affect emotional well-being, concentration, motivation, and the ability to cope with everyday responsibilities.

In this 1.5-hour talk, participants will gain a better understanding of anxiety, including its signs, symptoms, triggers, and effects on the mind and body. Through guided reflection, students will explore their own stress responses and coping strategies while developing greater self-awareness. The webinar will also introduce practical self-regulation techniques to help manage anxiety in academic and everyday situations, strengthen resilience, and support overall well-being in university life.

𝗕𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 is a lifelong mental health condition marked by extreme mood swings, including emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). Manic episodes may bring euphoria, energy, or irritability, while depressive episodes lead to sadness, hopelessness, and disinterest in activities. These mood shifts can affect sleep, energy, judgment, and daily function but are manageable with medication, therapy, and healthy habits! 🌈💙

“Falling down is not a failure. Failure comes when you stay where you have fallen,” - Socrates

That fear of failing after putting in so much effort, it's heavy.

But failing doesn’t define you. It's just a part of your story and a proof of your courage. And sometimes, it’s in those “failures” that we learn the most about ourselves—what works, what doesn’t, and what truly matters to us.

And if you really fail, I know you'll figure out the next step, like you always do.

Hi, Bestie! Nararamdaman mo ba ang pagod today? Maybe it's a sign that you are doing your best.

And guess what? We’re already almost halfway through the month.

That means naka-survive ka na sa ilang araw ng responsibilities, challenges, and everyday life. That alone is already an achievement.

So if today feels a little heavy, take a deep breath. Magpahinga sandali if you need to. You’re doing better than you think.

Proud ako sa’yo, bestie. Tuloy lang tayo, one day at a time. 🤍
