Our 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 🌷 to our very own officers from Batch 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐖𝐀 graduates 🎓 and Batch 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀 completer. ✨

We started the year with no idea of how everything would go for us. ⭐ We started ᴄʟᴜᴇʟᴇss, we ғᴇᴀʀᴇᴅ ʜᴀɴᴅʟɪɴɢ ᴘʀᴏᴊᴇᴄᴛs, we were ᴜɴsᴜʀᴇ if the responsibility of an officer was something we could handle. Yet, here we are at the end of the school year, ᴛʜʀɪᴠɪɴɢ and ғɪɴɪsʜɪɴɢ it with flying colors. 🪁

From every event, the chaotic club hunting video preparation (Eco Na Lang?) 🎞, every online interaction in the page 🫥, every event done at the library and collaborative room 📚, to collecting papers 📃, and checking the classroom of the whole VCSMS 🧹, none of it was ever easy. Many plants and trees were planted 🌳🌱, and each one of those will remain forever even if time forgets that we were once 𝐕𝐂𝐒𝐌𝐒 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬. 🍀

Most of us were first time officers yet we managed, and that makes everyone deserving of the recognition. Everyone has become leaders in their own special ways, carrying lessons and experiences that will never be forgotten. 💚

As we go live our separate lives, always remember our advocacy! 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. Always embody the mantra, 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲! 🌿

𝘽𝙀𝘽𝙊𝙏 & 𝙆𝙄𝙆𝘼𝙔 𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎 ?! 💋🌷

Last Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the EcoSavers Club held its last club event for the S.Y. 2025-2026. EcoCraft Dolls aims to strengthen students’ creativity and awareness regarding different recyclable materials. 🍃

Students engaged in the Eco-Fashion Craft and Eco-Character Art Categories and created their own handmade Eco-Dolls, while watching a movie about dolls and the environment, for them to be motivated throughout the activity. The event concluded with each student naming their EcoDolls, showcasing their creativity and knowledge about environmental conservation. ♻️

This shows how fashion and care for the environment can come hand in hand, proving that creativity can be a powerful tool in promoting sustainability and responsible use of resources. ✨️

As the last on-site project of the club, may this serve as a reminder that sustainability can always begins with small, mindful actions that starts with us, that when done consistently, can protect the environment and shape a brighter future for us all. 🤍🌿

What a wonderful kikay day it was! 💗

𝙀𝙘𝙤-𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, three activities all in one day! 🌟

‎Last February 06, the club held an event that revolved around three related hands-on projects wherein each aims to promote 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

The experience started with 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 🗺 which shows the world’s biodiversity, followed by 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 🔎 posters that demonstrate environmental concepts. Simultaneously, students created mini ecosystems in a jar through 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦. 🫙✨️

‎As the event concluded, students experienced a joyful learning experience through interactive activities that combined their two main elements; 𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚖𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔. 🌱💚

Each participant may enter only one of the following two categories:

1. Eco-Fashion Craft (3D/2D Doll)
Construct a doll using recycled and repurposed materials. Your creation can be:
A 3D doll with a body and outfit made entirely from recycled materials.
A Barbie (or similar) doll wearing a crafted outfit made from recycled materials.
A 2D paper doll using a provided template, dressed in recycled material outfits. (Note: The paper doll template will be given to participants before the activity proper.)

2. Eco-Character Art (Drawing)
Create an original doll character on paper. Your drawing must reflect the theme through the character's style, fashion, and overall design.
Participants are required to provide the doll's name, the name/title of its outfit, and a short description of the artwork’s concept.

For All Participants:
- Bring a trash bag for your own waste.
- All work must be original and created during the activity proper.
- Be respectful of others' space and creativity.

For Eco-Fashion Craft:
- Basic art tools (scissors, glue, tape, etc.)
- Clean, recycled materials for crafting the doll's body and outfit (old newspapers, magazines, cardboard, fabric scraps, clean plastic wrappers)

For Eco-Character Art:
- A4 bond paper.
- Your preferred drawing tools (colored pencils, markers, watercolor, oil pastels, etc.).

Eco-rrium proves that what we often throw away can still give life. This hands-on activity invites students to design their own mini ecosystems while learning the 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. ⚖️💚

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒄𝒐𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝑹𝑭 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒔 ! 🦸‍♀️🍀

Yesterday, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 31, volunteers from 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘸𝘢 were able to participate and immerse themselves with the works and ways of 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗠𝗥𝗙) in 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐬, 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Various activities such as 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘪𝘭, 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘴 🎨 were experienced and learned during their stay at the facility. 🌱

The EcoSavers Club and volunteers are beyond thankful to 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥, and of course, to our club adviser 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧, for their guidance and support throughout these 𝖾𝖼𝗈-𝖿𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗇𝖽𝗅𝗒 𝖺𝖼𝗍𝗂𝗏𝗂𝗍𝗂𝖾𝗌.

And of course, the journey wouldn’t end without a 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙧 ! 🔖 At MRF, they have a dedicated room solely for 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘴 that are for sale. These include 𝒃𝒂𝒈𝒔 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒔 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴. So here, visitors and volunteers can take home their desired items that are functionally made from waste materials.

Calling the attention of all research enthusiasts and environmentalists! In the reign of scientific advancements, it’s time to shed light to the field of Environmental Science. 🧪

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 2 a discussion regarding research basics and specialities will be held to expand the participant’s knowledge in writing a research paper. Then, a group forum will commence to have a space for accommodating questions and exchanging information. The research writing competition will be held on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 3.

➡️ WHO CAN JOIN?
‼️ (All group levels) should have 2 representatives per section.
‼️ Groupings will be by division consisting of 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡

The event features 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, where students map out the elements of an ecosystem through fun questions, hints, and trivia. Once the mapping is complete, the final clues reveal a theme that students will use to create a poster.

𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐭 is an environmental advocacy project of the EcoSavers Club that aims to showcase 𝕤𝕥𝕦𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤’ 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕥𝕪 while promoting sustainability and respect for the 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 💻☘️Through digital art inspired by recycled or discarded materials, students will work collaboratively to transform the concept of “𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵” into 𝓶𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓯𝓾𝓵 𝓪𝓻𝓽𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓴𝓼 with strong environmental messages that presents the 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨 🎨, 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 💭, and 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨 📣 of the participating students.

🌳MECHANICS🌳
1. This is a section-based group output. Each section must assign 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 who will be responsible for compiling, designing, and submitting 𝒐𝒏𝒆 (1) 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒑𝒖𝒕 for their section.
- The section officers, particularly the 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯'𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

2. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 are encouraged to contribute artworks.
- The section will decide whether artwork submission should be ᴠᴏʟᴜɴᴛᴀʀʏ ᴏʀ ʀᴇQᴜɪʀᴇᴅ, but 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎.

3. 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀
The representatives shall:
- Collect the artworks from their section
- Compile, design, and edit the final digital gallery
- Ensure completeness, originality, and clarity of content
- Showcase how trash or 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝘁 that promotes environmental awareness and sustainability.

4. The physical/digital outputs must be digital art plates inspired by:
- 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨
- 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
- 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
- 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨

5. All artworks must be 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Plagiarism and AI-generated artworks are not allowed.

6. The “portal” refers to a 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁 (Canva) where all artworks and contents are organized.
- This compilation must be designed and edited by the section representatives.

7. It is not an individual website but a 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 representing the 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀. The output must be submitted as a 𝗣𝗡𝗚 file.

8. Content and Page Layout

- Main featured digital art
𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬:
• Individual physical/digital artworks

9. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀
- Orientation may be 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵.
- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 must be used.
- Texts may be written in 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤.

10. File name and type must follow this format:

11. 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁
- Only 𝐨𝐧𝐞 (𝟏) 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐩𝐮𝐭 per section shall be submitted.
- The final output shall be submitted via 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 provided
- The 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 provided by the EcoSavers Project Heads is 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴.
- Participants must provide their 𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔 via the 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 to gain access to the Canva link. ☘️

12. 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄
- The deadline for the project will be until 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 6, 6:00 𝐏𝐌.
- Any late submission will be subjected to minus points.
- The list of selected artworks will be announced after the evaluation period.

13. 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌
- All submitted outputs will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Creativity and Originality (30%)
Clarity of Environmental Message (20%)
Quality of Digital Presentation (25%)
Completeness of Documentation (25%)

14. Outstanding artworks will be 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 (𝗩𝗖𝗦𝗠𝗦 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯).

15. 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 will be given and awarded to those with outstanding submissions of their work.
