𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧

PYAP UGONG together with other PYAP Chapters and fellow youth volunteers Spent a day serving the community at the AMSES Evacuation Center to extend a helping hand to our fellow Valenzuelanos affected by the fire incident at Sitio Kabatuhan, Gen. T. de Leon.

From repacking relief goods and distributing meals to the families, to facilitating games and bringing smiles to the kids and youth, every moment was a reminder of the power of community and resilience.

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat din sa CSWDO Valenzuela City at DSWD sa inyong walang sawang pag-agapay, maayos na koordinasyon, at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod. Karangalan po ang makatwang ninyo sa layuning ito.

Rebuilding takes time, but no one has to do it alone. 🤝✨

" Bago pa magkaroon ng selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika in August, nagsimula ito sa Linggo ng Wika kung saan si Pangulong Sergio Osmeña ang unang nagdeklara ng pagdiriwang nito.

𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐚 1946 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 1954, 𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐭𝐮𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 7 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 2. 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 2 𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬. Dalawang beses iniusog ang petsa ng pagdiriwang sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Pangulong Ramon Magsaysay, ito ay: March 29 hanggang April 4 noong 1954, at August 13 noong 1955.

Ayon kay Magsaysay, kaya Agosto ito ipinagdiriwang ay dahil ang orihinal na Linggo ng Wika ay nagaganap tuwing bakasyon ng mga estudyante, kaya hindi naisasama ang mga paaralan sa pagdiriwang nito. 𝐈𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐦𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚. "

Ang wika ay hindi isang lenggwahe o daluyan ng komunikasyon lamang, dahil mula sa lansangan, hanggang sa ating hapag-kainan, at kung saan-saan pa man, ang wikang ating ginagamit ay ang wikang sumisimbolo sa ating pagkakilanlan at pinagmulan.

HAPPY 52ND FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY PYAP!!💚

Today, we commemorate the 52nd Founding Anniversary of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) — a milestone that stands as a testament to over five decades of unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, volunteerism, and nation-building.

Since its establishment in 1974, PYAP has remained steadfast in its mission: to develop responsible, skilled, and service-oriented Filipino youth. Through programs that promote leadership, livelihood, education, and community involvement, PYAP has transformed the lives of countless out-of-school and disadvantaged youth, turning challenges into opportunities and hope into action.

For 52 years, PYAP has been more than an organization. It has been a movement — a movement that believes in the power of young people to shape communities, to lead with integrity, and to serve with compassion. From barangay-level chapters to national initiatives, every PYAP member carries the torch of "Pag-asa" — hope for a better Philippines.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we honor the dedication of our past and present leaders, advisers, partners, and most especially, our members whose passion continues to drive PYAP forward.

May this 52nd year be a renewed call to action. Let us continue to uplift one another, strengthen our communities, and build a future where every Filipino youth has the chance to thrive.
