OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Skates Society Inc. would like to formally announce that the Acoustic Showdown will no longer proceed as scheduled. This decision was made due to the limited number of participants, with only two groups successfully submitting their entries for the competition. Given this circumstance, we were required to adjust our plans at the very last minute.

Despite this change, Skates Society Inc. remains committed to providing quality entertainment to the community. In line with this, we are pleased to invite the public to join us on January 15, 2025, as part of the celebration of the Sr. Sto. Niño Feast.

Live musical performances will be held during dinner time at Chibugan sa Valencia, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Valencia.

We thank everyone for their understanding and continued support. We look forward to celebrating and enjoying the music with you.

💧🤍 Serving with heart and compassion
SKATES Society, Inc. extends its 1st Free Water Giving Assistance on November 1 & 2, 2025 at the Valencia Cemetery, in support of families and visitors during this time of remembrance.

This simple act of kindness aimed to provide comfort and support to families and individuals visiting their loved ones during All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.

We are grateful to our volunteers and supporters who made this initiative possible. Together, we continue to serve the community with care, unity, and purpose. 🤍

SKATES Society, Inc. proudly marks its 1st Coastal Cleanup Participation on September 20, 2025—a meaningful step toward protecting our environment and keeping our coastline clean for future generations.

SKATES Society, Inc. proudly took part in its first-ever coastal cleanup activity. This initiative reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility, community involvement, and sustainability.

Together with dedicated volunteers and partners, we joined hands to help protect our coastal areas and promote awareness on proper waste management. Small actions, when done together, create a big impact.

On June 21, 2025, a Mangrove Planting Activity was successfully conducted in Barangay Taug through the partnership of SKATES Society, Inc. and the Barangay Officials, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Victor Gultimo.

📣Empowering the youth through awareness and education 💡
On September 24, 2025, a Drug Symposium was successfully conducted for ANAS High School students from Grades 7–10, organized and sponsored by SKATES Society, Inc., in partnership with the ANAS High School faculty and Barangay Captain Hon. Asterio Salise.

This meaningful activity aimed to guide students in making informed, healthy, and responsible choices as we work together toward a safer, drug-free future.🌱

The Drug Symposium, organized and sponsored by SKATES Society, Inc., was conducted to raise awareness among Grades 7–10 students about the dangers of illegal drugs, promote informed decision-making, and encourage a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Through education and open discussion, the activity aimed to empower students to protect themselves and become responsible members of their school and community.
