That means each breath carries less oxygen,
making it harder for your body to function.

Breathing at high altitude is like sipping
through a straw thatโs slowly getting pinched.
Same drink (oxygen), but way harder to get it in.
At sea level, each breath gives your body
a full glass of oxygen.
On Everestโs summit, that same breath
barely gives you a third of a glass.
As you go higher in altitude
like climbing Mt.
But what does that really mean?
It means the air pressure drops,
because thereโs less weight of the atmosphere pressing down from above.
Imagine stacking blankets on top of you
the more blankets, the heavier it feels.
At sea level, youโre under a thick pile.
At the summit of Everest, itโs like only having one thin sheet on topโless pressure, less air, less oxygen.
Thatโs why every step feels heavy,
every breath feels shallowโthe mountain isnโt just steep, itโs stingy with air.
But just like lifeโs hardest climbs,
step by step, breath by breath, we rise.
