ANNOUNCEMENT: OPERATION HEAD START
We are pleased to announce the implementation of Operation Head Start, a preparatory program designed to support incoming Grade 7 learners as they transition from elementary to junior high school.
The transition from elementary to high school is a significant milestone in a learnerโs academic journey. It marks a shift to a more structured, independent, and challenging learning environment. Recognizing this, Operation Head Start aims to equip learners with the necessary academic readiness, social skills, and confidence to successfully adapt to the demands of junior high school.
This program serves as a bridge to help learners become familiar with new subjects, school routines, expectations, and the overall high school environment, ensuring a smooth and positive transition.
Objectives
1. To orient learners on the academic expectations, policies, and environment of junior high school.
2. To enhance learnersโ readiness in key subject areas through introductory lessons and enrichment activities.
3. To develop confidence and adaptability among learners as they adjust to new teachers, classmates, and school routines.
