The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) has recommended the resumption of classes at all levels in public and private schools in Valencia City on June 9, 2026, after rapid assessments and ocular inspections conducted in coordination with the City Engineer's Office (CEO) and the Office of the Building Official (OBO) confirmed that no major structural damage was observed in the schools inspected throughout the city and that school buildings and facilities remain safe for occupancy and the conduct of regular classes.

All schools are likewise advised to conduct earthquake evacuation orientations and drills to reinforce disaster preparedness and ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.

As the new school year begins on June 08, 2026, the Committee on Education of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tongantongan, headed by 𝐒𝐊 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨, together with the entire 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬, is once again launching its 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟎𝟐 to support our students, parents and teachers in their journey back to school.

This year's Libreng Sakay Program will run for two weeks, from 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟎𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, providing free transportation assistance to students, parents and teachers as they attend to their classes.

This initiative reflects our commitment to making education more accessible and easing the transportation burden of our learners and their families.

DAY 5: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🛠️💙💛

It's the final day of Brigada Eskwela 2026, and the Bayanihan spirit was in full display. Parents, students, and teachers gave their all– sweeping, fixing, painting, organizing, and serving to ensure our school is truly ready to welcome learners for SY 2026–2027.

From freshly painted walls to repaired chairs and tidy classrooms, every detail was made possible by volunteers who believe in the power of community. This week proved that when we unite for education, no task is too big and no contribution is too small.

The week-long work is over, and we did it together! Our deepest gratitude to all who shared their time, skills, and heart for this cause. Because of you, TNHS is more than ready to give our learners the safe and inspiring environment they deserve.
