As we mark National Women’s Month from March 1-31, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – San Jose Leet Integrated School honors the remarkable women in our ranks, school, and community. From ancient babaylans who guided our ancestors to today’s leaders shaping our world, Filipinas carry strength, wisdom, and heart in every role they take on.

We proudly recognize their contributions to building a more equitable nation and affirm that every woman has the power to lead, inspire, and drive progress. Together, we stand for and an inclusive society for all.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.

Make it count. Live your Promise. Let the mark you leave be a world better than you found it.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Some work in Scouting happens in camps. Some happens in offices. Some happens over years. These were the spaces where Don Gabriel A. Daza served . As one of the charter members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, he took part in building the organization’s foundations and later served on the National Executive Board and as Secretary of the Boy Scout Foundation.

His service extended into national leadership as Acting President and Chief Scout beginning in 1951, and as President and Chief Scout from 1961 to 1968. During this period, the BSP was entrusted with the management of the Makiling National Scout Reservation, strengthening national training and camping programs for Scouts.

Environmental programs formed a visible part of BSP work during these years, including the planting of one million trees around the Angat Water Reservoir. His contributions to Scouting were recognized through the Bronze Wolf Award of the World Scout Committee, as well as the Mount Makiling Award and the Tanglaw ng Kabataan Award, the highest honors conferred by the BSP.

As we mark his 130th birth anniversary, we revisit a period of Scouting in our country shaped through long-term service, national programs, and work that continues to this day.

This gathering brings together young leaders shaped by the values of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines—duty to God and country, service to others, and commitment to self-growth.

Guided by the theme “Be Prepared: Leadership for Life,” the jamboree highlights the importance of resilience, teamwork, and responsible citizenship. Rooted in local heritage and strengthened by shared experiences, this event inspires every Scout to lead with courage, integrity, and compassion—today and in the years to come. ⚜️🔥

Viva Pit Señor!

𝗕𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗕𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆. 𝗕𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Sa gitna ng makulay at masiglang pagdiriwang ng Kapistahan ng Señor Sto. Niño, sa mga selebrasyong tulad ng , -AtihanFestival at inaanyayahan ang mga Senior Scouts, Rover Scouts, at Scout Leaders na maging bahagi ng diwa ng paglilingkod at pagtutulungan.

Higit pa sa saya ng selebrasyon, bukas ang pagkakataon para sa boluntaryong pagtulong bago, habang isinasagawa, at pagkatapos ng mga aktibidad, bilang suporta sa mga deboto at sa komunidad.

Maaaring makibahagi sa mga sumusunod, alinsunod sa tamang koordinasyon at safety protocols:

- Pagtulong sa mga gawain ng simbahan at sa maayos na daloy ng mga aktibidad

- Pagiging first aider o safety marshal, katuwang ang mga awtorisadong ahensya

- Pagsuporta sa clean-up operations matapos ang selebrasyon

- Pagtulong sa pamamahagi ng inuming tubig at iba pang relief assistance at iba pa

𝟭𝟮𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

A Scout’s duty does not end with the badge they wear. It continues in the choices they make, the values they protect, and the way they serve others. Carlos P. Romulo lived this duty through a lifetime devoted to the Filipino people.

As one of the seven charter members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines he helped shape the early direction of Scouting in the country. He was also among the few to receive the Mount Makiling Award and the Silver Buffalo Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

As we mark his 128th birth anniversary, may every Scout remember that true leadership grows from character, courage, and commitment. May his life continue to inspire us to serve with purpose and help shape a future worthy of the next generation of Filipinos.

He saw the world as a place full of young people waiting to be challenged, guided, and trusted.

Robert Baden-Powell believed that character was built through action, courage, and simple acts of service. He didn’t just start a Movement but he showed how one person’s vision could inspire millions to step up, to care, and to lead by example.

Today, we remember him not only for what he founded, but for the values he lived every day.
