The holy month of Ramadan emphasizes acts of charity and compassion, and providing Iftar meals holds special significance. MSYO's simple program of preparing and distributing free Iftar meals is more than just providing sustenance; it's a spiritual act rooted in Islamic teachings. By providing Iftar for others, we fulfill a religious duty and contribute to a more compassionate and connected community. This act of sharing reflects the core values of Islam and embodies the spirit of Ramadan.
The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said, "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast will have his sins forgiven, will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and will receive the same reward as the fasting person, without diminishing the fasting person's reward."
