Another memorable Saturday night here at TVIRD-BGSP, made even more meaningful as we celebrated and honored the incredible fathers among our employees.
This special evening was more than just a gathering, it was a heartfelt tribute to the hardworking dads who continuously provide strength, guidance, and inspiration to their families and our organization.
To make the celebration extra special, our employees enjoyed free haircuts, relaxing massage services, special tokens for our fathers, and a delightful feast highlighted by a delicious lechon baka shared by everyone.
Filled with laughter, camaraderie, and appreciation, the celebration reminded us of the importance of recognizing the sacrifices and dedication of the men who serve both their families and the workplace with pride and commitment.

TVIRD’s Siana Project Excels in Quarterly Inspection

At the core of every responsible mining operation is a commitment that encompasses mere resource extraction and processing. This is the commitment to restore, protect, and sustain the environment for future generations – way beyond the life of the mine.

This obligation was once again demonstrated by TVIRD’s wholly owned subsidiary, Greenstone Resources Corporation (GRC), during the Multipartite Monitoring Team inspection for Q1 2026. The on-site assessment was conducted at the company’s Siana Gold Project in Surigao del Norte last 25-28 May 2026.

In addition to routine compliance, the recent engagement served as a platform for collaboration among stakeholders united by a common objective: to ensure that environmental protection and mine rehabilitation go hand-in-hand with mining operations.

TVIRD–BGSP SARANGANI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
Following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that affected Sarangani and nearby areas, TVI Resource Development Philippines Inc. – Balabag Gold and Silver Project (TVIRD–BGSP) in coordination with Mines and Geoscience Bureau Regional Offices IX and XII promptly extended relief assistance to impacted communities.

The initiative focused on providing essential support such as food and basic supplies to affected families in coordination with local stakeholders. This immediate response reflects TVIRD–BGSP’s commitment to community welfare and disaster response, especially during times of crisis.

TVIRD–BGSP remains committed to supporting recovery efforts and helping communities rebuild and regain stability after the earthquake.

TVIRD Balabag Gold and Silver Project proudly celebrates the successful culmination of the Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) 2026, one of the key initiatives under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) in partnership with LGU Bayog and DOLE Zamboanga del Sur.

This program provided valuable work experience, skills development, and learning opportunities for student beneficiaries, helping prepare them for future career success while supporting their educational goals.

These back-to-back activities are more than just a routine—they are the foundation of our work culture.
Honoring the Nation: Raising our flag reminds us of our commitment to responsible mining that contributes to national and local development.
Safety First, Always: During the General Toolbox Meeting, our teams aligned on the week's operational targets, cross-department coordination, and critical safety protocols. In mining, no goal is more important than ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of their shift.
With clear objectives, heightened safety awareness, and an unyielding team spirit, the Balabag team is ready to tackle the challenges and milestones of the week ahead!

TVIRD SDMP TURNOVER OF EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH SUPPORT TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYOG

TVI Resource Development Phils., Inc. Balabag Gold-Silver Project (TVIRD-BGSP), continues to support host and neighboring communities under its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).
As part of this initiative, TVIRD-BGSP conducted the turnover of school supplies to selected public schools in the Municipality of Bayog to help enhance learning support for students and strengthen classroom activities. These materials are intended to address resource gaps and improve the overall learning environment.
In addition, health equipment and essential medicines were also turned over to designated rural health units and health centers. This assistance aims to strengthen basic healthcare services, improve access to medical support, and enhance the capacity of local health facilities in delivering timely care to the community.
The activity reflects TVIRD’s continuing commitment to education and health development as key priorities under SDMP. It also reinforces the partnership between the company, local government units, schools, and health workers in promoting community welfare and sustainable development in Bayog.

PARTICIPATION IN THE SIMULTANEOUS NATIONWIDE TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY IN OBSERVANCE OF ENVIRONMENT MONTH AND SUPPORT OF MINECON 2026, AND CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY

TVI Resource Development (Phils.), Inc. – Balabag Gold-Silver Project (TVIRD-BGSP) joined the Simultaneous Nationwide Tree Planting Activity initiated by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) in observance of Environment Month and in support of MinECon 2026 through a tree planting activity held on June 12, 2026, at Sitio Balabag, Barangay Depore, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur. The activity was also conducted in line with the Company’s observance of Philippine Independence Day, highlighting its commitment to national pride alongside environmental stewardship.
The activity was led by the Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) with participation from employees across various departments. During the initiative, avocado (Persea americana) seedlings were planted in the WRD2 area under the Company’s Progressive Rehabilitation Program.
Avocado seedlings were selected for their adaptability to local environmental conditions and their potential to enhance vegetation cover, support soil stabilization, and contribute to long-term land productivity. The activity forms part of TVIRD-BGSP's continuing efforts to rehabilitate disturbed areas and promote sustainable land management within the mine site.
The tree planting activity also served as an avenue to strengthen employee engagement in environmental conservation while simultaneously commemorating Philippine Independence Day, reflecting shared values of responsibility, nation-building, and sustainability.
Through this initiative, TVIRD-BGSP demonstrated its commitment to responsible mining practices and environmental stewardship while supporting government-led efforts to protect and restore natural resources.

TVIRD and MDRRMO Bayog Equip Local Responders with Life-Saving Skills
In a collaborative effort to strengthen community safety, TVI Resource Development (Phils.), Inc. – Balabag Gold-Silver Project (TVIRD-BGSP), in partnership with MDRRMO Bayog, successfully conducted a 3-day training on Basic Life Support (BLS), Standard First Aid (SFA), and Fire Safety. The program brought together responders from Barangay Pulang Bato and Barangay Dimalinao, providing them with essential skills to act promptly and effectively during emergencies.
Through hands-on sessions and practical exercises, participants learned to administer first aid, perform CPR, and handle fire-related incidents, reinforcing the community’s preparedness and resilience. This initiative reflects TVIRD’s ongoing commitment to empowering local responders and promoting a culture of safety in the areas surrounding its operations.
