TVIRD-BGSP PARTICIPATES IN EPR ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMIT AND INVESTMENT FORUM

TVI Resource Development Philippines Inc. – Balabag Gold and Silver Project (TVIRD-BGSP) participated in the EPR Environmental Summit and Investment Forum held in Isabela City, Basilan, facilitated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB). The event brought together various stakeholders to promote environmental responsibility, sustainable development, and investment opportunities that support a greener and more sustainable future.

As part of the event, TVIRD-BGSP representatives also manned a booth display showcasing the company’s environmental initiatives and livelihood programs, highlighting its efforts in environmental protection, community development, and the promotion of sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Through its participation, TVIRD-BGSP reaffirmed its commitment to responsible environmental management, sustainable development, and creating meaningful opportunities for its host and neighboring communities.

The activity forms part of the National Certification Program under the 2026 Livelihood Program of TVIRD Balabag Project Social Development and Management Program (SDMP). As the official training arm of the SDMP livelihood projects, Sidlak Demo Farm Inc. provides competency-based training designed to develop the knowledge and skills of community beneficiaries for sustainable livelihood and employment opportunities.
Through practical activities such as feed formulation, the OAP NC II program helps prepare learners for productive and sustainable agricultural enterprises within their communities.

OJT CULMINATION PROGRAM: TVIRD-BGSP INTERNS

TVI Resource Development Philippines Inc. – Balabag Gold and Silver Project (TVIRD-BGSP) recently held a Culmination Program to recognize and celebrate the successful completion of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) of nine student interns from different universities.
From Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) – BS Geology, the interns were John Lloyd A. Cadungog, Bennediq C. Derecho, John Paul S. Germita, Maria Isabel V. Indino, and Khrystian Glenn H. Tadeo.
Meanwhile, Ella Reisha T. Dela Cruz and Rex David G. Fong, both BS Mining Engineering students from Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), also completed their OJT at TVIRD-BGSP. Joining them were AG Lyn C. Lumayog and Kleent Andrei A. Agbon, BS Metallurgical Engineering students from MSU-IIT.
The culmination program served as an opportunity to acknowledge their dedication, learning, and contributions throughout their training. TVIRD-BGSP congratulates all the interns and wishes them success as they continue their academic and professional journeys in the mining industry.

48 Graduates Complete Organic Agriculture Production NC II

A total of 48 students successfully graduated from the Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) NC II program at SIDLAK Demo Farm Inc., marking a new step toward better livelihood opportunities and sustainable farming.

SIDLAK Demo Farm Inc. serves as the training arm of TVIRD-BGSP’s livelihood program under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), in partnership with TESDA. The program provides trainees with practical agricultural skills and knowledge they can apply in their farms and communities.

The graduation celebrates not only the completion of their training but also the new skills, opportunities, and hope they can use to build a more sustainable future for their families and communities.
