𝑻𝑬𝑺 𝑺𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑬𝑺 𝑨𝑻 𝑴𝑨𝑩𝑨𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑨𝑻 𝑪𝑰𝑻𝒀 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑻𝑯 𝑳𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑺’ 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬 2026!

Serving main character energy with a purpose! The English Society (TES), alongside the Institute of Teacher Education Student Council (ITE-SC) of Mabalacat City College, proudly represented the future of student leadership at the two-day Mabalacat City Youth Leaders’ Convergence 2026 on September 22–23 at Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel, Lubao, Pampanga.

Organized by the Mabalacat City Youth Development Office (MCYDO) for International Youth Day, this year’s gathering brought together youth forces across Mabalacat City under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.” From deep dives into self-leadership and team-building to engaging in the 3rd Joint Quarterly Meeting and key youth development initiatives, the event proved that when young minds unite, real progress happens.

As future educators and word-smiths, TES steps up to the prompt ready to lead with authenticity, foster collaboration, and turn shared aspirations into meaningful community impact.

Because leading without losing yourself? That’s always in context.

This International Literacy Day, we celebrate the value of literacy in shaping not only how we learn, but also how we see the world and find our voice in it. Every page we read and every idea we put into words brings us one step closer to understanding one another.

May we continue to make reading, learning, and sharing knowledge a part of the change we hope to see. Because literacy is more than a skill—it is a bridge to possibilities, a voice for ideas, and a foundation for a better tomorrow. 📚🌱

Let every word we learn become a step toward a world where everyone has the chance to be heard.

Behind every freedom we hold is a story of courage, sacrifice, and love for the country. Long before us, there were Filipinos who chose to stand, speak, and fight for a future they might never get to see. Their stories remind us that being a hero is not simply about being remembered, but about having the courage to stand for what is right, serve others, and leave something meaningful for the generations that follow.

Today, we honor the heroes who helped shape our nation and the values they left behind. May we carry their legacy not only in remembrance, but also in the way we speak, act, and serve our community.

To remember our heroes is to remember the courage we can carry forward.

As they begin this new chapter, we hope they make the most of every experience and create memorable moments along the way. May this new beginning bring them new lessons, new experiences, and moments that will help them grow as future educators.
