Four days. Five barangays. Hundreds of conversations. One shared mission: building communities that are more informed, vigilant, and digitally resilient.
Through PROJECT SALAG 2026, Siklab Earth Initiative had the privilege of bringing scam awareness, digital safety, and responsible online behavior closer to the communities of Agoo, La Union.
And what a journey it has been.
- 219 Participants Reached
- 3 Partner Organizations
- 2 Schools Reached
- 5 Barangays Empowered
- 1 Municipality Taking a Step Toward Digital Literacy
From young learners to student leaders, from classrooms to communities, every conversation reminded us that digital safety is not only about knowing what a scam looks like.
It is about learning to pause before clicking, question before trusting, verify before sharing, and protect one another.
The 219 people we reached are not simply numbers in a report. They represent 219 opportunities for knowledge to travel furtherโto families, friends, classrooms, organizations, and communities.
To our partner organizations, schools, barangays, community leaders, volunteers, and every participant who welcomed us: SEIlamat.
Agoo, this may be the end of our four-day SALAG journey, but the lessons should continue long after we leave.
Because a digitally safer community is built one informed person at a time.
Protect people. Protect the planet. Empower communities.
Think before you click. Verify before you trust. Protect one another.
