The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ by making Christ known, exalted, and manifested in the lives and ministry of believers.
As Jesus said, “He will glorify Me” (John 16:14). The Holy Spirit transforms believers to become more Christlike, empowers them to witness, gives spiritual gifts for ministry, produces Christ’s character through the fruit of the Spirit, and enables them to proclaim Jesus with boldness.
In this way, the Holy Spirit does not draw attention to Himself independently of Christ; rather, His work in the believer continually points people to Jesus and makes the life and ministry of the believer a testimony to Christ.
