𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐀 | KASIKHAY: Igniting Hope, Inspiring Change

On March 23, 2026, the SEAIT Peer Facilitators’ Organization returned to Juan-Loreto Tamayo Integrated School for the final culmination of our outreach program. Guided by our theme, "Kasikhay: Igniting Hope, Inspiring Change," what started as a mission to teach turned into a beautiful journey of shared stories, laughter, and lasting connections.

We spent the day immersed in the joy of the learners—from the excitement of storytelling and games to the distribution of school supplies, hygiene kits, and slippers. Seeing their smiles as they received these simple gifts reminded us why we serve: to provide not just material support, but a spark of hope and encouragement that we hope stays with them forever.

This mission would not have been possible without the overwhelming generosity of our donors. To everyone who donated wholeheartedly—your contributions were the heart of this project. You didn't just give items; you fueled the flame of "Kasikhay" and invested in the dignity and future of these children.

To the faculty and staff of Juan-Loreto Tamayo Integrated School, thank you for opening your doors and hearts to us throughout this entire journey.

We walk away with full hearts, knowing that while this session has ended, the impact of our collective kindness continues to inspire change.

🤝 One Vision, One Heart: Strengthening Our Bonds as Peer Facilitators
Reflecting on a day of growth, learning, and connection! 💙

Last February 28, 2026, the SEAIT Peer Facilitators gathered for a transformative dual-event focused on leveling up our service to the student body.

🧠 Morning: Mindful Connections
Our morning session, "Mindful Connections: Strengthening Counseling Skills and Ethical Practice," was an intensive deep dive into the heart of peer support. We sharpened our active listening, explored the nuances of ethical boundaries, and reinforced the importance of empathy in every interaction. Being a peer facilitator isn't just about giving advice—it's about creating a safe, ethical, and mindful space for those who need it most.

🏆 Afternoon: Fostering Teamwork
The energy shifted in the afternoon as we headed into our Team Building Activities. Through a series of challenges and collaborative games, we didn't just have fun—we built the trust and synergy necessary to work as a unified front. After all, we can only support others effectively when we are strong and connected as a team!

We are walking away from this experience with refreshed skills and a tighter bond, ready to continue our mission of being a helping hand and a listening ear on campus.
