​On the 2nd day of December 2025, the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Tumauini, Isabela, officially issued a Certificate of Accreditation to the Bagong Pag-asa Rescue Group. This formal recognition signifies the group's standing and capabilities to operate within the municipality. The certificate was duly signed by key officials, confirming the resolution and approval: the Hon. Christopher B. It, Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Bayan; the Hon. Fabio M. Macalling, Chairman of the Committee on Accreditation, who oversaw the process; and the Hon. Venus T. Bautista, the Municipal Mayor, providing the highest executive endorsement.

𝟱 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗺, 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄

Sa ganap na 1:00 PM ngayong araw, Nobyembre 18, nakatakdang nakabukas ang 5 gates ng Magat Dam na may tig-dalawang metrong opening, na magpapalabas ng tinatayang 1,961 cubic meters ng tubig bawat segundo dahil sa pagtaas ng antas ng tubig na dulot ng bagyong “Pepito.”

Ang 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 #𝟰 ay bahagyang nakabukas ng dalawang metro at ang 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 #𝟯 ay madaragdagan ng pagbukas mula isang metro hanggang dalawang metro na may total approximate discharge na 728 cubic meters per second (cms). Dati nang nakabukas ang mga gate na ito dahil sa sunud-sunod na pagpasok ng mga bagyo.

MAGAT DAM, MAGBUBUKAS NG LIMANG GATE NGAYONG LUNES

Bubuksan ng pamunuan ng National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MARIIS) ang limang gate ng Magat Dam ngayong Lunes dahil sa dami ng tubig na pumapasok sa dam na umaabot na sa 7694.76 cms bunsod ng pag-uulan na dala ng bagyong pepito.

Matatandaan na dati nang nakabukas ang dalawang gate ng dam nitong mga nakaraang araw dahil sa sunud-sunod na pagpasok ng mga bagyo sa Lambak ng Cagayan.

Ang spillway gate #4 na dati nang nakabukas ay bahagyang nakabukas ng 2 metro, habang ang spillway gate #3 ay madaragdagan ng pagbukas mula 1 metro hanggang 2 metro na may total approximate discharge na 728 cubic meters per second (cms).
