Look || SK Bual, OSY, Student Leader, BNS, and DepEd Teacher Participate in Peer Counseling Training and Seminar

SK Bual representatives, together with the BNS and DepEd Teacher representatives, successfully attended the Peer Counseling Training and Seminar held today, May 27, 2026. The participants included SK Chairwoman Louresh Babe Padernilla, OSY Representative Stephanie Shayne P. Cerbas, Youth/Student Leader Lady Ann C. Lavado, DepEd Teacher Lesel P. Acera, and BNS/BHW Representative Mrs. Cristina Tajolosa.

The seminar featured Ma’am Crystelle May Navarte Morante, RPM, RGC, as the resource speaker, who shared her expertise on the Basic Peer Counseling. The training highlighted the importance of becoming emotionally aware, supportive, and responsible individuals who can provide guidance and assistance to others experiencing personal, emotional, and mental struggles. Ma’am Morante emphasized that helping others through psychological support and proper counseling can make a positive impact and even help save lives.

The seminar served as a meaningful learning experience that strengthened the participants’ knowledge, communication skills, empathy, and commitment to promoting mental health awareness and peer support within the community.

More than just sports training, the activity also highlighted meaningful discussions on anti-bullying and drug prevention, guiding our youth to become disciplined, resilient, and responsible members of the community.

Our heartfelt appreciation to our Governor, Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza for her continued support in strengthening youth development programs and advocating initiatives against drugs and negative influences. The participants truly proved that sports is a powerful tool against drugs and negative influences.

We are deeply grateful to our 3rd District Representative, Ma. Alana Samantha Taliño Santos, Vice Governor Rochella Marie "Ella" Taliño Taray, and Mayor Lee Roy V. Villasor for their unwavering support, inspiring messages, and commitment to empowering the youth of our community.
