I am delighted to Welcome you all in today`s momentous occasion for the grand celebration of the 80th Foundation Anniversary of Ke bing school, the premiere Chinese-Filipino primary educational institution in the province of Cagayan.
The School was founded in 1946, a legacy of the efforts of the Filipino-Chinese Community of Tuguegarao City. The Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Tuguegarao Inc., was the brain child of the concept of offering affordable but quality primary education open for all learners in the province of Cagayan and other nearby localities.
For the past seventy nine years, this institution have gained a reputation of being non-sectarian but with a strong religious orientation to instill, educate and cultivate the early child development of all its students to be competitive for the present and modern basic education curricula, to train all our students to become morally upright, disciplined, optimum development of their knowledge and various skills, leadership abilities toward becoming a responsible citizen ever willing to serve and love our country.
The entire members of Ke Bing School family are dedicated to provide and render its commitment to deliver academic services anchored with the school's motto "Virtus et Scientia".
I am very proud, happy and delighted to work with this institution, as a proactive member of a team who constantly work for the furtherance and promotion of quality basic education.
FCCCTI, through the leadership of Engr. Joseph Y. Pobre, are working continuously to upgrade our classroom facilities, teaching methodology, qualifications of our teachers and educational programs in line with mandate by the Department of Education.
We also value the role of the Ke Bing School Alumni Association, Parents in helping our students and school as well, for the promotion of a better academic environment.
