BALBALAN ACTIVE STUDENT CULTURAL ORGANIZATION (BASCO) proudly participated in the very first Balbalan Sports Festival, a beautiful initiative for the Balbalan youth pursuing their studies away from home.

Thanks to the Local Government Unit headed by our mayor Hon. Almar Malannag, we the students felt valued and included with this specially organized day of activities. Seeing our team members from BASCO join in the competition and camaraderie was a major highlight. This festival wasn't just about the games; it was about connection, support, and reinforcing that strong Balbalan community bond, even in Tabuk.

Congratulations to the organizers and all the participants for a memorable event! Let's continue to cheer on our youth as they strive for success both on and off the court.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the office of the Governor, Hon. James S. Edduba and our Provincial Local Government Unit for their swift response and generosity in providing relief goods and free transportation and the invaluable assistance of the Kalinga Rescue team to stranded students from Kalinga in Tuguegarao City.
