UNITED IN FAITH, GROWING IN PRAYER

Last Tuesday at 3:00 PM, the YES-O Club gathered together for a meaningful moment of prayer through the Holy Rosary. This special time allowed us to pause from our daily activities, reflect on God's goodness, and strengthen our faith through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As we come together in prayer, we are reminded that faith is not only about believing but also about living with kindness, humility, compassion, and love for others. Through every Hail Mary and every mystery we meditate on, we offer our intentions, hopes, and thanksgiving to the Lord, trusting in His guidance and grace in our lives.

May this beautiful tradition continue to inspire every YES-O Club member to become a living example of faith, unity, and service in our school and community. May Mama Mary guide us in our daily journey, protect us from harm, and lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. Let us continue to make prayer a part of our lives, knowing that even in the busiest moments, we can always find peace and strength in God's presence.

Together, let us keep our faith alive, our hearts united, and our prayers sincere. May every Rosary be a reminder that when we come together in faith, we grow stronger in spirit and closer to God.

𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐋𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬

As one of the most anticipated highlights of the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Fun Camp 2026, Linao National High School successfully conducted the Mr. and Ms. Trashion Show 2026 on October 16, 2026, at the LNHS Gymnasium, Tuguegarao City.

Anchored on the theme, “Learn, Compete, Create: STE for a Better Tomorrow,” the event brought together student creativity, environmental advocacy, and sustainable innovation in a dazzling showcase of eco-friendly fashion. The competition featured ten participants representing the five competing teams, each tasked with designing and modeling a Trashion attire made primarily from biodegradable, indigenous, and environmentally friendly materials.

Participants transformed ordinary materials into extraordinary runway pieces using items such as dried leaves, twigs and vines, coconut leaves, dried flowers, banana leaves, grasses, bamboo, recycled paper and cardboard, abaca fibers, rice straw, corn husks, egg trays, and other biodegradable materials.

The event showcased not only the contestants’ artistic talents and craftsmanship but also their confidence and poise on the runway. As each participant took center stage, they displayed imaginative designs that highlighted the beauty and potential of recyclable and natural materials when transformed through creativity and purpose.

A distinguished panel of judges composed of Maybelle L. Daquioag, Marvin J. Matias, Lirio T. Fernandez, and Charles M. Castillo carefully evaluated the contestants based on creativity, relevance to the theme, craftsmanship, environmental significance, runway performance, and overall presentation.

Through the successful conduct of the Mr. and Ms. Trashion Show 2026, LNHS reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious learners who are capable of combining creativity, innovation, and sustainability.

More than a fashion competition, the event served as a meaningful reminder that even simple biodegradable and recyclable materials can be transformed into works of art that inspire action toward a greener and better tomorrow.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗟𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗧𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆’𝘀 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Linao National High School participated in the simultaneous Tree Growing Activity on October 14, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 26th Anniversary of the Schools Division Office of Tuguegarao City.

Led by the YES-O Adviser, officers, and members, the group planted Narra seedlings within the school grounds in support of the Division’s environmental sustainability program. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness among learners while helping strengthen efforts toward ecological conservation and climate resilience.

The tree-growing initiative is one of the anniversary activities highlighting the commitment of schools to environmental stewardship and community participation.

The “𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮” Project is an environmental initiative led by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) Club, designed to promote proper waste management while creating meaningful opportunities for students. Through recycling, ordinary waste is transformed into valuable resources that can help support the organization’s activities and projects. ✨💡

As part of the project, YES-O officers and members conduct a room-to-room collection of plastic bottles throughout the school. The collected bottles are then brought to junk shops for recycling, generating funds that can be used to support future YES-O activities and environmental programs.

More than just collecting waste, May Pera sa Basura encourages students to recognize the value of responsible waste disposal and recycling. Together, we can reduce plastic pollution, keep our school clean, and turn simple actions into something that makes a difference. 🌍🌿♻️

🌱✨ 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘 ✨♻️

On September 21, we came together for a meaningful clean up drive and plastic bottle collection activity. Through teamwork and cooperation, we were able to help make our surroundings cleaner while giving recyclable materials a second purpose.

This activity taught us that even simple actions can create a positive impact when we work together. Every piece of trash collected and every bottle recycled is a small step toward a cleaner and healthier community. 💚🌍

A big thank you to everyone who joined, helped, and supported this activity. Let’s continue doing our part in protecting the environment and keeping our community clean! 🌱♻️✨

YES-O Joins LEAD Camp 1.0! 🌱

The YES-O (Youth for Environment in Schools Organization) of Linao National High School proudly participated in LEAD Camp 1.0: Leadership Seminar and Team Building spearheaded by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government on September 19, 2026.

Throughout the activity, our YES-O members gained valuable knowledge about leadership, responsibility, cooperation, and effective teamwork. The seminar and team-building activities challenged us to step out of our comfort zones, strengthen our confidence, and work together toward a common goal.

More than just an event, LEAD Camp 1.0 reminded us that great leaders are not only those who lead, but also those who listen, cooperate, serve, and inspire others. 🌿✨

Together, we continue to grow as young leaders and environmental advocates leading with purpose, serving with heart, and caring for our environment. 💚🌎
