It turns out that cutting a pizza can become a surprisingly interesting math problem. If you make straight cuts across a circle, the number of pieces depends on how those cuts intersect. With 1 cut, you can make 2 pieces; with 2 cuts, 4 pieces; and with 3 cuts, up to 7 pieces!
