In celebration of the National Women's Month, the Z-Club marked National Womenโ€™s Month with an advocacy-driven forum themed โ€œLead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,โ€ urging students to reexamine traditional notions of leadership and womenโ€™s roles in society.During the session, speakers challenged the familiar idea of women simply asking for a โ€œseat at the table,โ€ emphasizing instead that women have historically been the architects of many of these spaces.

Resource speakers Dr. Kristinne Joyce A. Lara, DPA and Atty. Cecilia Lazaro motivated students with powerful talks on leadership and womenโ€™s rights. By invoking the legacy of the babaylan, they challenged modern Filipinas to continue leading and reshaping society. The event aimed to remind the youth of womenโ€™s enduring contribution to building a more just and equal society, and to inspire students to continue that legacy in their own communities.

Some voices paint. Some voices write. Some voices rise and echo through spoken words. And sometimes, those voices come together, not just to create, but to remind us that creativity can speak louder than silence.

Through colors that carried meaning, slogans that held powerful truths, and spoken words that turned emotions into stories, students across different strands showed that art is more than expression; it is a voice for ideas, courage, and change.

To everyone who participated, your creativity did not go unnoticed. Each poster, each slogan, and each spoken piece reminded us that ideas, when shared with courage, can inspire others and spark meaningful conversations.
