🌾𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩: 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚

The Nutrition and Dietetics interns at Cagayan Valley Medical Center successfully concluded their 600-hour clinical internship on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the CVMC Amphitheater.

Present in the said event were the following: Chief Training Officer of Professional Education Training and Research Unit (PETRU) - Dr. Maria Cristina Joy I. Cammayo, Program Chair of CSU-CAHS Nutrition and Dietetics - Dr. Milagros Suyu, Faculty of CSU-CAHS - Ms. Anzia-Taguinod, NNC-Region II Nutrition Officer III - Mr. Edzell Arcinue, CSU-CAHS College Secretary - Mr. Christian Dale Suriaga, and the Registered Nutritionists-Dietitians of Cagayan Valley Medical Center- Nutrition and Dietetics Service, headed by Ms. Geraldine Fe Melad.

During the program, the batch leader expressed deep gratitude to the CVMC-NDS through a heartfelt speech, "Our clinical internship felt like creating a recipe, each ingredient needing balance to become meaningful. Despite challenges and imperfections, every experience, whether joyful, difficult, or painful, shaped our growth. In fact, we learned most not from our successes, but from our mistakes, struggles, and moments of overwhelm, all of which became essential in molding who we are today." Alcaraz shared.

This milestone marked the culmination of a rigorous four-month clinical internship at the region’s premier tertiary hospital that turned the interns’ academic knowledge into practical expertise, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the dietitian’s role, giving them a firsthand look at how nutritional science directly impacts patient outcomes. Hence, under the institution's expert guidance, the said interns were honored to have earned the following accolades:
