From September 3โ€“5, the leaders of the Philippine Association of Laboratory Medicine Students โ€“ MCNP Chapter gathered for three transformative days at La Vista Cabbo, Cabbo, Peรฑablanca, Cagayan, under the theme:

โ€œLeading Beyond the Screen: Seeing Reality in a Virtual Worldโ€

Though divided into five tribes; Suri, Likha, Sigla, Sandig, and Tanaw. PALMS proved that distance could never divide their spirit of unity. Each tribe carried its own fire, heart, and purpose: Suri saw clearly, Likha created boldly, Sigla led with energy, Sandig stood firm, and Tanaw looked ahead. Together, they demonstrated that true leadership is not about standing alone, but about lifting one another up.

Beyond every screen lies a real world and throughout the camp, the leaders were reminded to live in it fully. They learned that likes never equal care, algorithms never tell the whole truth, and behind every interaction is a real person with a real heart. The camp was not about rejecting technology, but about rising above it; leading with empathy, truth, and purpose, and remembering that the most meaningful connections happen when people truly see one another.

May the lessons of these three days live beyond the camp โ€” beyond the screens, beyond the titles, and beyond the moment.
May every PALMS leader continue to see with clarity, create with purpose, stand with courage, look toward the future, and above all, lead with a heart that never forgets the people they serve.

This is PALMS leading beyond the screen, and choosing to see, serve, and lead in the real world.

The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines โ€“ Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSMLS) proudly celebrates a significant milestone as 42 Mighty Eagles successfully passed the August 2026 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (MTLE).

This achievement is living proof of MCNPโ€™s steadfast dedication to academic excellence, cultivating medical technologists who are not only clinically astute and technically proficient but who also carry forward the values of integrity, empathy, and selfless service that define the true spirit of the profession.

Congratulations, RMTs! Your perseverance, dedication, and hard work have brought immense pride to the entire MCNP community. May this feat inspire the next batch of examinees to walk the same path of excellence.
