Narito ang kwento ng Baguio Village Farmers Association mula sa Diffun, Quirino, kung saan ang pangangalaga sa kalikasan ay nagbubunga ng kasaganahan at kasiyahan sa komunidad. 💚

MATATAG AT LUNTIANG KINABUKASAN PARA SA KABATAAN. Isa sa pinaka aktibong katuwang ng DENR Region 2 ay ang mga kabataan at mag-aaral sa lambak ng Cagayan. Kaya naman patuloy ang ahensiya sa pagpapaabot ng mga serbisyo at programa upang mas malinang ang kanilang kaalaman tungkol sa pangangalaga ng kalikasan.

|| Mahigit 600 na mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa Tuguegarao City ang nakilahok sa katatapos na Pinas Basura Buster Roadshow bilang parte ng selebrasyon ng Zero Waste Month ngayong Enero.

Layunin ng aktibidad na turuan ang mga bata sa pangangalaga sa kalikasan sa pamamagitan ng tamang pagtatapon at pamamahala ng basura.

Panoorin ang masaya at makabuluhang pagbisita at pagtuturo ng DENR Cagayan Valley, kasama ang ating pambansang basurero, Pinas Basura Buster! 💚

This Zero Waste Month, we are reminded that the journey toward effective waste management and zero-waste communities requires ongoing reforms and stronger implementation nationwide.

Twenty-five years since the Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 9003) was enacted, the work continues. During the first flag ceremony of the year, DENR Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla underscored the need to strengthen implementation to fully achieve the law’s objectives and advance sustainable practices in communities nationwide.

This Zero Waste Month, we are reminded that the journey toward effective waste management and zero-waste communities requires ongoing reforms and stronger implementation nationwide.
