Heritage Tour for the Youth: Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future

The Tuguegarao Online Sellers Association with the PAG- ASA (PAGMAMAHAL ALAY SA AGTA ASSOCIATION) and the Cagayan Youth Advocates, held a Heritage Tour for children to deepen their appreciation of Cagayan’s rich history. Guided by Sir Florante Baylon, the participants learned about the prehistoric periods, traditional clothing, and the legacy of Hon. Teresa J. Dupaya, the first woman governor of Cagayan and founder of the Cagayan Museum.

The tour included visits to Rizal Park and the Cagayan Museum, where the youth explored valuable collections of artifacts and cultural treasures. This meaningful activity reminds us that preserving heritage is not only about remembering history but also about inspiring the next generation to value their identity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PAG ASA and TOSA SPONSORS for the snacks and for the opportunity to access the museum. Truly, by knowing our past, we empower our future.👌👌👌
