Established in 2019, the Magobawok Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association of Barangay Magobawok in Bayabas, Surigao del Sur, is one of the groups funded by the DSWD-SLP that ventures in micro-lending as a livelihood activity. As a product of their diligence, the group has expanded their livelihood and now engages in rice lending.

Aside from project expansion, the SLPA is very involved in the community as well by coming up with initiatives such as "Munting Handog Para sa Kabataan" and "Munting Handog Para sa Ligtas at Masayang Pagbabalik Eskwela." The group also actively participates in clean-up drives to show their part in environmental protection and preservation.

𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: DSWD's issuance of Guarantee Letter under AICS is back

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced on Wednesday (January 3) that it has resumed the issuance of Guarantee Letters (GLs) under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) last Tuesday (January 2).

A Guarantee Letter is a document issued by the DSWD in favor of the beneficiary addressed to service providers to guarantee the payment of the service on behalf of the client, particularly their medical and burial expenses.

Opisyal ng gisugdan sa Punta Gracia Empowered Entrepreneurs -SLP Association pinaagi sa blessing og ceremonial ribbon cutting ang ilang Hog Raising project operation.

Human sa maong aktibidad, nagsalo-salo sa ilang dalang mga pagkaon ang matag myembro og naghisgot sa mga dugang plano kabahin sa ilang proyekto!

Kini ang pinaka-unang livelihood project gikan sa DSWD-SLP sa Punta Gracia og kini nahitabo sa tinguha og supporta ni Mayor Jimmy Beray. 🙌 Congratulations PGEE- SLPA! 🎉🥳

Consistent sa gipakitang kadasig og panaghiusa ang DR Transformed Pantawid Community-SLP Association atol sa ilang Ribbon Cutting og gihimong final inspection sa Tubay MOO SLP og Municipal Agriculture's Office sa ilang Hog Raising project.

Target nga e-dispose sa maong assosasyon ang ilang mga produktong baboy sa ikatulong semana ning bulan sa Desyembre og pipila na usab ka mga buyer ang miduol kanila.

The Duck Farming project for balut production of DOS UNITED ENTREPRENEURS - SLP Association has officially started its operation at Purok Beto, Poblacion II through a ceremonial ribbon cutting and concluded final inspection.

Santa Ana Catalyst for Change -SLP Association commenced HOG RAISING operation through a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

A final inspection and technical consultation was conducted by the personnel from Municipal Agriculture's Office. It was ensured that the project is not affected by Hog Cholera and ASF as rampantly affecting hog raisers in neighboring areas.

The Tagpangahoy Coastal Entrepreneurs -SLP Association successfully held the official opening of their BAKERY project through a ribbon cutting and blessing ceremony. A final inspection was also conducted through the assistance of the designated Local PDOs of LGU Tubay and Tagpangahoy BLGU.

Coastal neighboring barangays of Brgy. Tagpangahoy can now avail their fresh baked cakes and breads at very friendly prices.They are also open for store tie-ups for weekly bread supply in a comprehensive contract.

Ka-SLP Update: The DUCK FARMING project of Dos United Entrepreneurs -SLP Association is now initially operating. While the duck building is still under construction, they placed their 575 ducks in a secured temporary shelter.

Apan ang maong assosasyon nagsugod na sa pagharvest sa ilang mga itlog matag adlaw og naga-dispose na sa maong produkto. Sa interesado mupalit adto lamang sa ilang project site nga anaa sa Beto, Poblacion II, Tubay og pangitaa si Jonalyn Lawan. 📣

Throwback: SLP Associations' representatives were all smiles during the Provincial Check Turnover held at Capitol Training Center, Capitol Compound, Butuan City on October 19, 2023.

Each association received a grant amounting to Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 450,000.00) from the DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program as seed capital for their chosen livelihood projects which are the following:
