Compliance with the requirements of publication
All journal articles should follow the prescribed format and the manuscript should observe the following requirements:
1. Submit an electronic copy thru e-mail;
2. Manuscript on a letter-size (8.5 x 11), font 12 Arial, double spaced;
3. Leave a one-inch margin on all sides;
4. Type all headings on a separate line;
5. Number all article pages consecutively in the upper right corner;
6. Include an abstract of 200-300 words;
7. Main body of the paper should be around 5000-7000 words and should include the following: an introduction, methodology, results and discussion and references;
8. All copyrighted materials must be original and not yet published before;
9. Must adhere to the format of the American Psychological Association (APA);
10. A brief description of the author and contact numbers at the end of the manuscript;
11. Guided by Data Privacy Act.
Please be guided by the following in preparing your manuscript:
Title of the Research Manuscript
Not more than 15 words
Author’s Description
A brief bio-note of the author/s, and their institutional affiliation and contact details (mobile number and email address).
The Abstract
This should answer the following: What were the research questions and what methods did the researcher use in answering those questions, and what the researcher discovered.
Introduction
This should include a presentation about the statement of purpose, research questions or hypotheses to be tested, review of related literature, theoretical/conceptual framework, and significance of the study.
Methodology
This should include a presentation of the population and sampling, research design, methods of data collection and measurement of variables, study procedures including a description of any interventions.
Results and Discussion Section
This presents the key research findings or the results obtained in the analysis of data.
This section tries to unravel what the results mean and why things turned out the way they did. This should include a presentation of the interpretation of the results, discussion of study limitations, and recommendations.
Conclusion and Recommendations
The researchers draw conclusions about the meaning and implications of the study and propose recommendations that are empirical and based on the findings and results.
References
Ideally, the references should be more than fifty (50) and are recent studies, and researches that are published for the last five years [2015-2020].
For classic references (the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s,) this is also acceptable especially if cited in the theoretical framework.
Appendices
If photo documentations involving communities, cooperatives, correspondences, and social legislation are proper or relevant, then it could be appended. Limited to two appended pieces of evidence.
Co-operatives, public and private schools, research institutions, government and non-government organizations with research programs and studies on cooperatives are expected to participate.
