10 to Ride By
Words: Tactic (Cavite Chapter)

Interesting weekend I've had. Was able to have a good talk with one of our prospects, which eventually gave me an idea to write this up for them.

1. Don’t wait on your patch. Quit staring at your damn vest. Do your part, show up, ride, learn, serve. The patch comes when it comes — and only when you’ve proved you’re worth it. Wag mo hintayin, paghirapan mo. Gawin mo lang trabaho mo, darating din ‘yan pag oras mo na.

2. If you can’t give it all, don’t bother. If you can join, serve, and show up — do it. If you can’t, don’t waste anyone’s time. This life ain’t a weekend hobby. You’re either all in, or you’re out. Kung di mo kayang ibigay buong sarili mo sa club, wag mo pilitin. Brotherhood ‘to, hindi barkadahan lang.

3. Shut up and learn. You’ve got two ears and one mouth — use ’em that way. Watch your full patches, listen, pick up what they drop. Learn first, talk later. Makinig ka muna bago ka dumaldal. Matuto ka sa mas nauna, ‘wag puro angas.

4. Handle your s**t. Family, work, club — in that order. Don’t use the patch as a hiding place from your problems. If your home or job’s a mess, fix it. Balance your life so you can ride free, not run away. Ayusin mo muna buhay mo bago mo sabak ang MC life. Wag mong gawing takbuhan ‘to sa gulo mo sa bahay o trabaho.

5. Take pride in every damn thing. Doesn’t matter if it’s mopping the floor or leading a ride — do it right. Half-ass work gets half-ass respect. Own what you do. Kahit maliit na bagay, gawin mo ng buo. Respeto binibigay sa marunong magpahalaga sa ginagawa niya.

6. Step the hell up. Be a leader even as a prospect. Pull your brothers up, not down. Stand tall, set the pace. Leadership ain’t a title — it’s how you move. Hindi mo kailangan ng posisyon para maging lider. Gawin mo lang tama, magpakita ka ng malasakit.

7. Own your screw-ups. You’ll mess up — everyone does. Take it on the chin, learn, and move forward. Excuses don’t mean s**t. Growth does. Wag ka magpalusot. Aminin mo mali mo, tapos bumawi ka. Doon ka lalakas.

8. Keep your head on a swivel. Read the room. Know your surroundings, your brothers, your bike. Stay sharp — ready to move, act, or back a brother without being told. Maging alerto. Alam mo dapat anong nangyayari sa paligid mo — sa club, sa ride, sa mga kasama mo.

9. Always be ready. Check your gear, your ride, your body, your mindset. Don’t be the weak link. Be the guy who’s ready for whatever the road throws at you. Laging handa. Sa biyahe, sa gulo, sa buhay. Wag kang pabigat.

10. Enjoy the ride. Prospect days don’t last forever. This is where you earn your bones and your brothers’ respect. The patch ain’t the goal — it’s the proof. Earn it the hard way. Sulitin mo ‘tong parte ng buhay mo. Dito ka huhulma, dito ka titibay. Yung patch, bonus lang ‘yan sa tunay na paglalakbay.

R.I.O.T.S. (Ride In Order To Serve) held last weekend at Little Angels Home, Mendez, Cavite with our Brothers from MC Philippines and Balasik MC Philippines.

No amount of material possessions will heal the pain these kids went through, but we hope that they will look back on this day as one of their happier memories.

Grow brave and kind, kids!

Blackriders MC, Cavite Chapter invites you to join the R.I.OT.S! (Ride In Order To Serve) happening on September 6, 2025 from 1 to 3 pm.

We're going to bring smiles to the faces of our youth by distributing toys and books to Little Angels Home, Inc in Mendez Cavite.

This is not poverty p**n; this is paying it forward with the support of the community; for the people, by the people! It's time to get on your steel horses and ride to serve! See you at the R.I.OT.S!

"Ragnarok"
Words: Gar, Prospect, BRMC Cavite Chapter

Last stands, those hopeless fights against impending, unavoidable doom, appeal to men for a reason. Charging headlong into a fray where the only respite is the surety of that eternal sleep that awaits us all screams folly, along with that heroic bravery that men aspire to.

These last stands also happen in a smaller scale, the lessons nevertheless the same as in the grander scale of things.

Seeing things through no matter the odds can be seen as a "last stand". For instance, a collective aim devised long in advance comes to fruition, albeit at the hands of only a few of the actors who originally formulated the plan.

Does one falter when the trumpet is rung for the cavalry and the thunder of the cavalries' hooves are awfully silent? Nay!

Does one wallow in despair when the posts are deserted by the unfaithful? Nay!

That is the time when the will to persevere must blaze brighter. All it takes is companions, brothers with the same unwavering flame within them, and any last stand will be bearable. The goal may still be untenable, unattainable despite a raging struggle, but that futility makes the last stand with your brothers all the more delectable, a forlorn glory shared by the few and true.

Valhalla does not take cowards, those who renege. Stand by your brothers no matter what, go to your rendition of Ragnarok, with backbones of steel and hearts of fire.

"Going out, brother?"

Words: Gar (Prospect, BlackRiders MC Cavite Chapter)

Everyone talks about "The Life" - breathing in bikes, booze, and brotherhood (b***y included for all the free agents or the ones who think they are) in motorycle clubs. One long party if you play your cards right, nevermind that riding bikes is like having one foot already 6 feet deep.

And everyones laughing with you until Santa Muerte comes knocking at some point - the question is, who's going to be with you while waiting for that knock? Will anyone even know when She comes to take you home? How long until you're just another name in the roster? Yeah, you get the GBNF's when you kick the bucket, but were you F'd while you weren't G yet?

So go ahead, man. Make that call. Send that message. Show it within your boundaries, and sure as hell make em feel it when you show up. BE THAT BROTHER who waits with your brothers as they wait for their turn. Or don't call yourself a brother at all, cause how different are you then from all those other names in the Contacts list if you don't even bother keeping in touch.

Death is a part of the cycle of life, but it's often a neglected subject since everyone's tough and all and we're riding off into the sunset when we go. But the next time a brother sets a foot out that door, you gotta be present, one way or another to ask: "You going out, brother?"
