Despite what pop culture often implies, your energy isn't powered by T-Rex fossils. The real story goes back over 300 million years ago to the Carboniferous Period—long before dinosaurs ever walked the Earth! 🌋

🍃 During this era, Earth was covered in massive, swampy forests filled with giant ferns, club mosses, and primitive plants. When these ancient jungles died, they fell into oxygen-poor waters that prevented them from fully rotting away. 🐊

🪨 Over hundreds of millions of years, layers of mud, intense subterranean heat, and immense geological pressure squeezed that organic matter into dense black rock. So next time you think of fossil fuels, picture a sun-soaked prehistoric jungle instead of Jurassic Park! 🌲✨
