In this blessed month of Ramadhan, a time of mercy, reflection, and compassion, we lift our prayers for our nation and for the world.

O Allah, the Most Compassionate and the Source of Peace, guide our country toward righteousness, justice, and good governance. Grant wisdom, integrity, and humility to those entrusted with leadership, that they may serve the people with honesty and accountability. May those who commit corruption and injustice be held accountable, and may truth, transparency, and fairness prevail in our institutions.

Ya Allah, we pray for peace in our world. Protect innocent lives—especially women and children—from the suffering and dangers of war. Shield them from violence, fear, and displacement. Calm the hearts of those who wage conflict and prevent the escalation of wars that bring destruction to communities and nations.

We remember the millions of workers and families who depend on peace and stability, especially our Overseas Filipino Workers who may be placed in danger when conflicts rise in the regions where they work. Protect them, grant them safety, and keep their families secure during uncertain times.

O Allah, we also remember the poor and the struggling. In times of war and global tension, prices of food, fuel, and basic necessities often rise, making life even harder for those who already have little.

We pray that every family may have food on their table, that the hungry may be fed, and that no child sleeps in hunger during these trying times.

Fill our hearts with compassion for one another and guide humanity toward dialogue instead of violence, justice instead of corruption, and unity instead of division. May this sacred month inspire us to become instruments of peace, mercy, and hope in our communities and our nation.

Protect our country, protect our people, and grant the world lasting peace.

Ameen.

Immediate Release of Salaries for Sulu Teachers

In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan—a time of justice, compassion, and mercy—we urgently call on the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE-BARMM) and the Department of Education (DepEd) to immediately release the delayed salaries of our hardworking teachers in the Province of Sulu.

Despite the ongoing transition of Sulu to Region IX (Zamboanga Peninsula), our teachers have continued to serve with dedication, professionalism, and commitment to their students. Administrative transitions should never deprive them of their rightful compensation.

Teachers are pillars of our communities. Their salaries are not privileges—they are earned rights. During this sacred month of Ramadhan, many families depend on these salaries to meet their daily needs with dignity.
We respectfully urge MBHTE-BARMM and DepEd to act swiftly and ensure that justice is given to the educators of Sulu.

This call is made by Gagandilan Mindanao Women Inc., in solidarity with the teachers and their families.
