Such decisions shall take into consideration the appropriate recommendations and assessments of the respective City or Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officers (DRRMOs).

Preemptive evacuation in low-lying and other vulnerable areas is likewise encouraged, when necessary, to prevent injuries and ensure the safety of our constituents.

𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The Provincial Government of Batangas hereby informs all concerned examinees that the Civil Service Examination scheduled on August 9, 2026, in Batangas City is postponed due to the prevailing inclement weather conditions affecting various areas of the province.

Batangas is currently experiencing the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), with PAGASA issuing Rainfall/Weather Advisories and Heavy Rainfall Warnings. Several areas have already experienced flooding, resulting in difficult and unsafe travel conditions.

This postponement is being undertaken in consideration of the safety and welfare of the examinees and examination personnel, particularly those traveling from different municipalities and local government units affected by the prevailing weather conditions.

All concerned examinees are advised to await the official announcement of the Civil Service Commission regarding the rescheduled examination date and further instructions.

The public is encouraged to remain vigilant, closely monitor official advisories, and prioritize safety amid the continuing adverse weather conditions.

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍: Patuloy na nagbubunga ang mga repormang isinulong upang gawing mas abot-kaya ang pangangalagang pangkalusugan para sa bawat Pilipino.

Sa direktiba ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, mas pinalawak ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) at Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang listahan ng mga gamot na hindi na papatawan ng Value-Added Tax (VAT). Layunin nitong mapababa ang halaga ng mahahalagang gamot at mabawasan ang gastusin ng mga pasyente, lalo na ng mga nangangailangan ng tuloy-tuloy na gamutan.

Ang hakbang na ito ay pagpapatuloy ng mga repormang nakapaloob sa TRAIN at CREATE laws, mga batas na isinulong ni Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto noong siya ay nasa senado pa. Sa pamamagitan ng mga repormang ito, mas napalawak ang mga insentibong naglalayong gawing mas abot-kaya ang mga pangunahing pangangailangan, kabilang ang mahahalagang gamot.

Patunay ito na ang mga repormang may malinaw na layunin at pangmatagalang pananaw ay nagdudulot ng konkretong benepisyo sa buhay ng bawat Pilipino.

Tingnan ang kumpletong listahan ng mga VAT-free na gamot sa ibaba at alamin kung alin sa mga ito ang maaari nang mabili nang walang Value Added Tax.
