In keeping with our club’s cherished tradition of honoring monthly birthday celebrants during the Fellowship Meeting, we came together in joyful celebration of our March honorees—PP Juanito Umali, PP Ruel Bico, PP Celso Mitra, PP Edsel Diasanta, and PP Quing Panganiban. The gathering was held on March 27 at Coffee Beer Cafe in Talisay, Tiaong, Quezon, where camaraderie and gratitude filled the evening.

The occasion was made even more memorable by the delightful surprise visit of District Governor Jeremie S. Lo, accompanied by his district officers, whose presence added distinction and warmth to the celebration.

We were honored to attend and joyfully celebrate the 85th birthday of PP Celso Mitra, one of the pillars of the Rotary Club of Tiaong, on March 14 at Hacienda Escudero.

What began as a simple birthday celebration soon blossomed into a heartfelt reunion. Laughter filled the hacienda as members shared meaningful stories, reminisced about cherished memories with PP Celso, and created new moments together. It was a wonderful gathering that deepened the bonds of friendship and strengthened the spirit of fellowship that continues to unite our club.

On October 25, and in line with the celebration of End Polio Month, District 3820 Area 3 Group 1, led by Assistant Governor Elizabeth Kalaw and the Heartworking Presidents of the Rotary Club of Tiaong (Engr Fernan Garcia), Rotary Club of Tiaong-Hiyas (Annabelle Cueto), Rotary Club of Tiaong-Circle (Amor Mea), and Rotary Club of Padre Garcia (Sally Hiwatig), organized a simultaneous motorcade to raise awareness and strengthen the global call to End Polio Now with attendance of 43 active rotarians.

The motorcade route starting at Moises Escueta Ala-ala Park, going to Barangay Lagalag, straight to San Antonio Municipal Hall, and end at Tagpuan-Hacienda Escudero where small program was held.

The event was graced by the presence of Past District Governor Ray Atienza, who showed his full support for this meaningful initiative.

This united effort stands as a testament to Rotary’s enduring value of Service Above Self—a shining example of leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to a world free from polio.

Three dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Tiaong actively participated in the Four-in-One Learning Seminar held from March 3 to 9, 2026 aboard the Costa Serena Cruises, demonstrating the club’s strong commitment to leadership development and effective service. It was attended by our President Elect (PE) Clarito Boyet De Luna, Secretary/PP Rene Mayo, and Club Facilitator/PND Dr. Nilo Gret.

The week-long learning experience brought together incoming Rotary leaders to prepare for the responsibilities of the upcoming Rotary year. Designed specifically for Club Presidents-Elect, Secretaries-Elect, Club Learning Facilitators, and other club members; the seminar provided valuable insights, practical strategies, and collaborative discussions aimed at strengthening club leadership and enhancing service impact.

The Four-in-One Learning Seminar combined four key training programs into a comprehensive leadership development event:
1. President-Elect, Secretary-Elect, and Club Learning Facilitator Learning Seminar (PESECLFS)
2. District Learning Assembly (DLA)
3. Vibrant Seminar
4. Grant Management Seminar

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Host Club, RC Tiaong-Hiyas, to DGE Eric Santos and the entire working team for their dedication and for the successful conduct of the seminars and events.
