Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts of Lalig National High School took part in the Senior/Cadet Conference Meeting and Election and Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGSM) Orientation held on July 25 at the Quezon Girl Scout Council. The activity gathered Girl Scouts from different schools to participate in orientation sessions and council elections that promoted leadership, service, and collaboration.

The event also became a proud milestone for Lalig NHS as three of its Girl Scouts earned positions in the Quezon Council:

IT'S GIVINGGG ๐Ÿซฑ๐Ÿป๐Ÿซฒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ”„

Three Senior Girl Scouts from Lalig National High School joined the Regional Summer Camp 2026 held at Camp Belen, Masin Sur, Candelaria, Quezon from May 13 to 17, 2026. The activity brought together participants from different councils across the region for a five-day event centered on skills development, cultural appreciation, and friendship.

Right upon arrival, the girls displayed strong teamwork as they collaborated to construct the necessary gadgets and equipment for their stay, proving their resourcefulness and readiness for outdoor living. They also took part in a Water Safety session to learn vital life-saving techniques, and showcased their artistic talent by crafting phone charms and bracelets. Their hard work and dedication were recognized as their unit โ€” Quezon 3 Unit 2 โ€” received three major awards: Most Organized Patrol, Most Number of Gadgets, and Best Patrol.

Adding to their memorable experience, the team traveled to Lucban, Quezon to witness the lively Pahiyas Festival. They immersed themselves in local customs and savored famous regional treats such as pancit habhab and Lucban longganisa, deepening their appreciation for Quezonโ€™s vibrant culture and heritage.

A key highlight of the camp was the โ€œBridges of Friendshipโ€ activity, designed to promote unity and interaction. Through fun games and shared moments, the Lalig NHS representatives built connections with fellow scouts from other councils, strengthening bonds and expanding their circle of friends within the movement.

Their participation proved to be a truly rewarding journey that combined learning, culture, and social growth. The scouts returned home with new knowledge, cherished memories, well-earned recognitions, and strengthened values that embody the true spirit of scouting.
