The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) successfully held its fourth batch of symposiums on January 15, 2026, at the Pantay Integrated High School Junior High School Covered Court.
The program began with an opening prayer led by Arrence San Diego, Grade 9 Representative of BKD, followed by the conducting of the National Anthem (Lupang Hinirang) led by Jhon Ian Rivas, President of BKD. This was followed by the opening remarks from Ma’am Junelle Lee S. Niones, Head Teacher.
The formal start of the program was marked by the introduction of the Resource Speakers by Angel Ace Mariquit, Secretary of BKD. For the Drug Awareness segment, JO3 Cherry Lyn N. Parado led the discussion. JO1 Noemi T. Barrozo shared insights on Understanding ELCAC and PCVE, while JO1 Raymond E. Pelinio presented the BJMP Recruitment Campaign. To keep the event engaging, and JO1 Kim Howard V. Lalap facilitated the icebreaker.
The program of BJMP and BKD continued in the afternoon from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., attended by all Grade 10 students of Pantay Integrated High School.
After the sessions, awards were given to the Resource Speakers in recognition of their valuable contributions.
Followed by the closing remarks from the Grade 10 Level Coordinator, Ma’am Janet Remotige.
The presentation of the Barkada Kontra Droga would not have been possible without the guidance of Ma’am Florence San Diego, adviser of BKD, to whom we extend our deepest gratitude. We are also thankful for the support of Ma’am Junelle Lee S. Niones, Head Teacher and Ma’am Janet Remotige, Grade 10 Level Coordinator.
